    Song for my Cat

     

    My cat, Alice, of 12.5 years, died on Saturday night, so I wrote a song for her, and here it is. It might seem kind of strange to write a song for a cat, but she meant a lot to me, so please please please don't make fun.

     

    The site says 'Temporary', but that's long term temporary until I finish CD #5.

    Also on the site is a story I wrote, under the menu there's a tab called 'Wojingralk' or something. It's a story I wrote (one of the times) when I was bored.

    Well, now that I've been assimilated by the GC CS:S community, I feel comfortable enough to share with you my ugly-as-sin website. I have it on a tripod template because a)I have forgotten the vast majority of HTML that I used to know, and B)I never knew that much to begin with.

     

    So, what is this site? Well, you can either see for yourself, or read this. Chances are you'll read this regardless of what else you do. Anyways, this is a site. Yes, shocking. It houses a bunch of my own creative works, predominantly music. I've written around 50 or 60 of my own songs (more currently in the works) and I've done a few covers, totalling four 'CDs'. Each song has its own page, complete with lyrics (where applicable) and music, in midi format in the background. I've also made small comments for each song.

     

    That's about it for now. If I think of anything else I'll likely forget.

    I can't even imagine what it must be like to lose your mother. All I can offer are my deepest sympathies and condolences. You're in my thoughts, you're in my prayers. Though I don't know you very well, I can honestly say that I'm proud of how well you're handling this.

    Yup I live in Colorado.  I have not changed my isp.  I have comcast and have the max dl and ul they have available.  Believe me if anything else was out there better that was reasonablly affordable I would have it.  I did the ping plotter thing.  My results were posted in the forum under #2.  I don't know what happened.  It's just been like this for the last couple of weeks now at least.  Lude, what did comcast change?  Pleaes help me if you can I want to get my pings back to normal in 1 and 2.  Thanks for all the attention.  You know how much girls like attention!  :wiggle2:

    AWP: Lame or Skillz?

    It's not often I find myself playing in scoped servers anymore. Just because of the AWP. I have no problems with the Scout, and I would love to practise with it, but bots aren't much fun (plus playing in a local server compared to an abroad server messes with ping/latency) and whenever i want to use a scout, there are always people who decide, very unkindly, to blow my head off with an AWP.

     

    Or blow my arm off, same result.

     

    When I DO play scopes, I so very rarely buy an AWP, and only if I'm in a particularly bad mood. Otherwise I'll *try* a scout, fail miserably, and revert back to a colt or an AK. If I see an AWP lying on the ground, I might go 'Oooo pretty! Me wantee!' and pick it up, buuuuuut then I get shot by someone else.

     

    It's way too overpowered. It's so hard for a beleaguered team armed with pistols/SMGs/shottie to take on an AWPer. Along comes a poor T with his mighty glock/peashooter/knife (had to sell the glock to pay child support), and tries to kill an AWPer from 50 feet. 'pew pew!' 'BOOOOOOOOM!!!'

    I have all of these on my PC at home.  They are worth a watch once a year.  I love them.

     

    I saw someone in one of the servers under this name recently made me laugh.

     

     

    Haha, yeah I think I've also seen that guy. I haven't watched the 'Pain Train' for a couple years, but I still got a chuckle when I saw the guy.
