If you skipped GTA: San Andreas, then I has a sad for you. Vice City had a very good storyline behind it. I really enjoyed GTAIV and played they hell out of it, but it did take itself a little too seriously and getting calls from Roman to go bowling during a high speed chase got annoying fast. The DLC Ballad of Gay Tony was awesome though.

No chatter on this thus far 'round these parts, but I for one am very excited to get my hands on this. I have been trying not to read/watch a lot of the preview stuff, but the multiplayer aspect looks like a BLAST.

I remember trying GTAIV multiplayer with Jackie, Ebil, and one or two other people, and for that short period of time, it was awesome. Not sure we ever actually left the dock area where we started, as we started crashing cars into each other, scrambling for/crashing the nearby helicopter, and racing for the rocket launcher on the roof.

Anyone else looking to dive into this?

These boards have been severely lacking in the Making-Fun-of-Canada department recently. I will take some of the blame for this.

If that's the case, I would ask to be removed from League #1 and added to league #2 if possible. Don't really feel like redoing my draft strategy 2 days before the draft.

May I ask why defensive players were suddenly added to the mix out of no where? Not a fan

Is anyone taking the reigns on the second league? I have never run one before, and have a little one on the way during the season, so I wouldn't be able to play full time babysitter on this. Otherwise I'm willing to get #2 going and drop my spot in the current one.

I also really wish the draft was next week instead of Wednesday.

What these guys said - should be a pretty easy bolt-on job. Do make sure you get new/correct gaskets.

Not when one of your 3 decent players gets hurt, and you're now down to third string backs on the waiver wire. I was in a 10 team PPR league last year, and the injuries to Percy Harvin and Darren Sproles sunk my season (plus Stafford sucking big ones, grumble grumble...)

Maybe we can get enough people for two 10's? if not, two leagues of 8 are the way to go. As I said before, I'll volunteer to switch to the newly opening league. Not sure I can be commish though.

As it's set right now, the draft is a week from tomorrow, so we probably need to get this sorted asap.

You can count me out of a 16 team league, that sounds terrible. 12 would be the max I would consider, otherwise there just isn't enough talent to make Sundays feel even remotely enjoyable.

Personally, I think Windows 8 is great once you understand how things are organized. I have NEVER worked on a faster machine than my home rig once I got Win8 running on it.

Any time I hear someone say that it's awful, I think they really want it to be like the above picture. Makes me imagine MS giving a giant middle finger to the haters, saying "You want to live in the past? HERE YOU GO. ENJOY."

Personally, I don't count the Clicker grab a cheap death at all. These are supposed to be VERY dangerous enemies, and it would have killed the immersion for me if I could get out of a mess I started by punching one in the fungus. Silence and stealth are key to dealing with those things, and when you screw those things up and don't get your gun trained on one in time, it should be game over. I understand why they have the companions able to hold clickers off - it would royally suck if you had to babysit them the whole time for fear of game over because you were busy dealing with your own stuff (classic "escort mission" PITA for some FPS). That is making it a more enjoyable game, imo.

As for the bow aiming, I wouldn't call it clunky since you can see the whole friggin arc where the arrow will fly. It's not EASY to hit a moving target with it, but it isn't easy in real life either. By the end of the game though I became much more proficient with it. Using it was about picking your spots and waiting for the target to move into your aim, not trying to follow the moving target.

The AI isn't perfect in this game, and I did encounter a few instances of weird enemy behavior/glitches, but I refuse to let that bring down my opinion of one of the best games I have played.

Should I just throw up a vote in the admin section about shutting down the Political Asylum forum altogether? Because you guys are getting ridiculous. And not just some of you, but almost all of you. As a gaming community, who cares to talk politics with anyone here anyway? Go find another forum for that. Seeing post after post by the same people bashing the same people here makes me want to rename the forum "ZD and friends vs Shaft and friends". Stupid.

Let this place patrol itself. No one is getting hurt over the internet here. Some folks get more riled up than others, but labeling everyone else troublemakers when only a few get more emotional isn't cool. It's the internet folks, say your piece then move on.
