    Yeah, I LOVE the side scroll! You can't accidentally hit it either, even when pressing down on the scroll wheel. If anything, you'll accidentally scroll down (or up) instead. So if you dont do that with your mouse currently, you wont do it with this one either.

     

    Like was said before, the buttons are all programmable per application, so if you dont want to use the dpi, that's fine - just reprogram the buttons for whatever you want for whatever application. Side scroll alone is a GREAT selling point... ;)

     

    So yeah, anyway, both sides, the wheel itself, and the scroll down/up are all easy to use on my G5 and dont ever get confused accidentally.

    Ruff, you've been playing this pretty steady. Any server suggestions?

     

    I hang out at the MOB, T5K, and UMG servers for stiffer competition but there is a little server called EpicServer2 that is a lot of fun.

     

    You will find a lot of noobs in UT3.

    I have the G5. You can just program the dpi buttons easily using the logitech software, and there are customizable weights. You can make it feel heavy or light, whatever you like. I started heavier, then slowly moved all the weights out so now it's empty.

     

    idk about the bottom of the 518 but the pads on the G5 make it glide smoooooth. I also dont know if the 518 has side scroll, but the G5 does and I also have that programmed for UT for certain weapons (very handy). For example,

    back=lg

    +=mini

    r-scroll=shield

    l-scroll=deemer

     

    But for everyday apps that need a "forward" I just use the + for that, since dpi switching holds no interest for me either.

    Just checked IGN; Street fighter 4 is a PC game. They are sold

    out for consoles everywhere up here, (the penguins really like it :P)

    I'm only playing UT2k4 on PC.

     

    2) Are you playing mostly consoles now (PS3, Wii, Xbox360)?

     

    360 - GoW2 mostly, but some Halo3 as well. Not online, just system link stuff.

     

    3) What PC games are you looking forward to?

     

    UT4. I can't wait for them to have the idea then make it. That's about it to be honest.

     

    4) Any PC games you didn't play in the past that you mean to check out eventually?

     

    Not really. I have been buying games for xbox lately because 1 - I can play in town with my friends who also own their own 360s, and 2 - I forget my second point.

    :( I can't tonight now. I have an interview thingie for school at 730, and after that I'm writing an exam, and after that I'm going to bed because I teach the next morning. :(

    Edit: I know what you mean Primus. They were yelling at me and the rest of the team because we weren't "helping to build the nodes!" I tried to explain that at any given time I was fighting 5+ of the other team's players, giving them lots of time to build. I was told that if I wanted to just fight guys then go play DM because apparently I couldnt hold off enough guys (in a 16v16 match) for them to build the node without being harassed. :shrug: Doing a little bit of simple math and I realized that I was making it a 15v11 match in our favour, so I just kept doing what I was doing :D

    Meh, I'm jumpin in as we speak... type...

     

    I was on for a while, tried to jumpstart it, but no go. I then went over to the pub vet's server. Not many vets there :( Just a couple of "hackers" and the rest of the players who think that shooting your own nodes with the primary link fire will make it build more quickly. :(

    I have had NO time to work on it :( I'd love to say yes, but I haven't touched it in the last 2 weeks. It's the end of teacher's college for me, so it's nuts right now. I'm just keeping my head above water with so many assignments. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up again soon.

    Touche. My intent was to say that it was that the problem was actually not complicated and did not need a deep understanding of math.

    If a number is assigned to each letter of the alphabet such that a=1, b=2, ... etc, then what is the product of the following:

    ( t - a )( t - B )( t - c )...( t - z )? If you can't do this in your head you suck at math.

    I have my doubts. If if a man takes 1 minute to put in a light bulb how long would it take 100 men to put in the same light bulb?

     

    Oh, that's easy. They're outside so they don't need a light bulb. Bush bush bush. :P

    Though, mine has an answer that's easier than most think. Doesn't even involve a complicated formula.
