Not gonna lie, I loved little-big planet, but it's a game for goofing off with friends.

I've finally got Gold. Havent' played much, but a little of halo3 last weekend. I can only play weekends though.

Um, been working through gears2 on insane (just beat that big fish guy, wahtever it's called). Also play halo3, and beat lego starwars and indianna jones to almost 100% for each I've also beat Assassin's creed, PD Zero, PoP, but those are all not great online

how about screen capture software? I'm not using my mac for this, or windows 7 atm, so I need a nice little program (free if possible).

It's for teaching Excel to my students.

I just dl'd it and set it up, then changed my fbook status with my mac through my pc in the next room to test it. Pretty sweet and easy to use.

I just bought myself a Samsung 40" 530 for $979 after taxes at the end of August to keep my sanity in Emo. It is now my monitor (I hook up both), as well as tv for my 360, and monitor for recording with my mac. I enjoy it a lot, though it's not as nice as yours. Enjoy!

The school is about 34 kids or so (high school only for that number). But the elementary school is next door, which makes it GREAT for getting the students helping with the younger children, teaching them that responsibility, etc.

As for the $$$ I get double cheques a week apart in June to cover June/July, and I got one August 31 (though that was my first official day of work). Gonna try to kill the student loans in about 2 years (34k ish). Oh, and no, I don't work summers.

This last summer I got to do some fun stuff. As a grad gift I went skydiving - so much fun!!! 11k feet, free-fell for 35-40 seconds. I also went to Canada's Wonderland (6 flags place with roller coasters, etc), played lots of halo3, worked at camp (of course), etc.

I'll have to post pics someday when I get some time. I still have to mark tests tonight (it's 9:30 already). Nice to hear from you guys!

I haven't died yet, as you already read in the topic title. It's much worse than that - I'm a first-year teacher.

Right now I'm actually living in a town called Emo in NW Ontario. It has a booming population of 1200 or so, and that's why it's taken me 4 1/2 weeks of living here to get the internet.

Now that I am connected to the world again I dont really have much time for that sort of thing. In a 4 period day I'm teaching 5 classes - 3 maths, a physics and a business course. I love the school/kids, but the work load is pretty demanding. Oh yeah, and I'm the IT contact for the school, so if there's a problem they call me.

Anyway, wanted to stop in and say hi, I miss it here, and who knows next time I'll be back.

Same thing happened to me with Vista. Eventually I gave up and did the dual boot as well, simply to play UT. If you figure it out, lemme know.

Besides the drop in fps, I also had some weird feel to it. Not really a lag, but it just didnt feel right somehow.

I've had every brand of hard drive go bad on me except maxtor. Dealing with customer service has been a suckish experience with all but Logitech. When my G5 crapped they sent me a new one without many questions.

Ewww... I agree with dragonfly. Hasn't history taught us anything about introducing non native species of anything.... even movies show how badly that it plays out.

I will point out that most of us didn't originate on this continent either...

lol I did. Just not my great grandparents. I'm still 100% Canadian which means I'm simply 100% not American... though, my mom's American... I'm 100% unsure of myself.

For real though. They introduced those worms that are EVERYWHERE every 5 years or so, eating ALL of the poplar leaves, then they introduced a fly to kill the worms, now there are flies EVERYWHERE in the summer. So it just cycles from flies to worms, and back again over periods of 5 years or so. Next they'll introduce a bird I guess.

Oh man. They need to stop introducing new species of everything in NA. Next they'll need something to get rid of the flies...
