  1. Just traded for the game today finally. Traded GRID for it (I got the good end of that deal) so I may reinstall tonight. Then patch, then 2.0, then maybe play if it's not after 11 by then.

Awesome. He took the key out of the box. Now I have to get him to find the key. <_<

  2. Good job man! I get to start paying mine back this school-year-end. Hurray! :D

I know the M word is popular - but I have a lot of respect for my dad. For the last 13 or 14 years he's been building a new house (started when I was in grade 8, now I'm graduating Uni). Instead of taking out a mortgage he decided he was going to build it all himself, when he had the time/money. It has been a long process, but he has no debt over it, and he's almost done. That and the satisfaction of doing it yourself, plus all the awesome learning possibilities that come along, it's a learning experience like nothing else.

(For those interested, it's a White Pine log home 60x40, 11' ceilings, cathedral livingroom, full basement and second floor (except for balcony over cathedral ceiling livingroom). It's so beautiful. We sawed our own lumber too - white pine tongue and groove flooring, cedar ceilings and some walls, the rest will be drywalled.)

Anyway, congrats man! Dont spend all your new-found money on some fancy new tape deck for your car! :P

  3. THe low end i7 chip sells for around 280 USD and I've read that it overclocks easily to 3.4~. Just a thought. You would have to buy a new board though as well as new RAM (DDR3) if my memory serves me right.

well mine is easily at 3.8ghz...

btw dragon, very few people in southern ontario speak french. :)

Pffft, 1/2 of Ottawa is french! :P More people speak french in S.ON than live in N.ON :P

Oh, and besides numbers, not sure why you need more than the 8400. I have mine at 3.83 constantly (for the last 5 months or so) and can't imagine spending that much money for a few frames or shaved off seconds. At least not at this point. But hey, if you need to put money somewhere, you can invest in the dragon likes to buy candy stocks. They're always in demand.

  4. iOk so what's my point? I'd wait for a bit to upgrade, and not the standard "wait a bit" that everybody always has to say...figuratively wait a bit.

I have no idea what that means.

    Shaftiel

Who knows? He's from S.Ontario, where the people are either crazy or worse - french. :stretch:

  5. Let's not talk about this week being that last week of Friday being the best TV night each week.

    +1

Let's talk about how awesome it was after :) And how sad we are that there is no light at the end of a dark tunnel called the rest of our lives :(

  6. Ultimately I think I would have been happier with a G3.

    That's what she said.

I dont notice any of the above complaints on mine. I do know that the middle is raised up, and I never notice it. I did also notice that my old roomie's G5's scroll wasn't as nice as mine (maybe he got a lemon or I got a lucky break?).

I almost wish this mouse was a touch bigger. Anything smaller for gaming for me and my hand complains.

PS Bush, you ever think that maybe it's your taste and hand that dont meet the perfection standards of your mouse? :smiling2: jk! Glad you dont hate us for suggesting it, or at least haven't said so yet.

PPS - what if you program + to be your wheel down? Just a thought.
