    I have a problem.

    really inspect the vid card fan housing and make sure air flow is good-- if your heat level is high at idle (no gaming) then maybe you could unmount the heatsink and re-apply some thermal grease (arctic silver, etc) and reattach the heatsink

     

    this may or may not be possible on your card. but worth a shot.

    if you haven't seen the original movie, you absolutely need to. just remember there was no cgi/computer aided animation... but the story is amazing and the soundtrack was very memorable.....also the cast of voices was amazing too...leonard nimoy, casey cason, orson wells, eric idle even :) -- but that is something that is generational i suppose...i got into transformers at a very influential part of my life, so it means more to me to reflect back on those things

     

    as far as the original series, i wouldn't say go run out and see it right away, but if you want to know the background of the transformers, you should see them...it's 4 seasons worth (but the 4th was a short season)

    ...but equally embarrassing "throw a nade, have it bounce back and blow yourself up" frags have to be the tops for me.

    It's the best when you have what seems like an eternity to realize what's happening and you know you can do nothing about it, so you just stand there and even have enuf time to type LOL *before* you die :)

    ... and when I try to click on the "x" to close it and go back to the previouse page it asks if I want to close the 2 tabs as if I have a choice...

     

    You're clicking on the wrong "X". From what I can tell, the web page is opening a new "tab", not a new "window"...so you need to close the "tab" This is called tabbed browsing. Of course there are many ways to customize this activity. I'd recommened "Tab Mix Plus" extension to help you choose how to handle opening of popups/windows/tabs/links/etc

     

    Search for it in google, install the extension and then restart firefox. Go to Tools->Options and click on the "Tab Mix Plus" tab. Go thru all the options and customize to your heart's content.

    i agree with what cujo says... however you can always keep your computer together as it is (as a second computer) when you "upgrade" you almost always buy new everything anyway right? and end up having an entire other computer for network storage (or for friends who come over) etc

    just fyi, i was on the server when Xplosion was playing before inferno and after. he pm'd me to ask if I could ask around to see if anyone remembered banning him and noone could remember, so I told him to post here

     

    In my opinion he was a decent player and didn't do anything foolish while I was on. Hopefully this is just a misunderstanding.
