  1. Alright I saw that I could rent a pc but I'd really rather use my own computer and I'm willing to buy the parts needed I just wanted to see if anyone here could try and help me and tell me what is wrong. I can't reformat my computer because it isnt on long enough... I think I'm just going to go on new egg and buy a new amd64 system for around 170. Thanks for the help though.
  2. Alright guys I'm allready signed up to come to frag fest but I've run into some problems with my computer. This is what I posted on another forum... Alright I've been having trouble for a little while now and I could really use some assistance. I keep getting a bsod and it says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL now this has to be two conflicting drivers but I asked around and a few people told me if all your drivers are up to date which according to the release date on chaintechs website they are then the problem is with my motherboard. I have no problem replacing my mobo I would just like to know if that is for sure the problem. It continues to exit out of my games after only a few mins of play time, at first I thought it was a virus but then the blue screen began to come up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.... Ok my computer started out with that problem that I believed was due to a driver confliction with another now it has gotten to something a hell of a lot more serious. I ran a program on my computer that told me the temperature of my CPU and it was dangerously high peaking at 71 C, and 89 C. So I went out and bought some dynex thermal paste to replace the little amount that was on the top of my CPU. Well I hook everything back up and go to start my computer and it powers on for about a second and then shuts off. So I take my heat sync back off and look at the thermal paste I took some of it off just to see what would happen and it turned on for about a min so that I could log in and then it just shut off like it would if it lost power. I have a Chaintech SKT600 motherboard, a AMD 3200XP, and a 420 watt raidmax ps. I have come to the point now that the only way to turn on my computer for even a second is to unplug the 20-pin connector from the motherboard and the plug it back in. I have to believe that my motherboard isnt giving enough power to everything to power on, so I'm ok with buying a new one I'd just like anyone out there to help me decide if that is the really problem and if not lead me in another direction. ANY HELP WOULD ME MUCH APPRECIATED!
