I don't really know .... but a quick google search for: L4D default port
yielded several hits suggesting that 27105 was the "default port"

We should do something special. Something special like, bring back all of the dead servers past, unban everyone, invite all the old players to take a night off of playing WoW or L4D and hoot it up like old times.

Nice trucks. Seems like if you told me you painted, I coulda guessed that you hauled snow in the winter. Seems like that is always the case .... not enough home improvement work in the winter. The company that did our addition a few years back clears snow for all the HOM furniture stores around here.

I'll drop this in chit-chat...
Installing a new door, frame and all. I'm fairly handy. Although I had no experience doing things. I've managed to put down hardwood laminate floors, ceramic tile, new counter and sink. So now I'm replacing the front door, storm door, and a 48x54 window.
I don't think I can handle the window so my buddies dad who is a contractor said he'd do it for about 100 bucks. I got the storm door, but now to the main door. Should I do this myself? Or should I pay him another hundred or so?
If you have a friend, and you're handy, and you know how to google: do it yourself. Buy plenty of shims. Follow directions. Start early.
Edit: Also, make sure you have a longer level, at least 4 feet (of course, the directions you find on google will tell you that).

In some ways quicker is better IMO (my grandpa had the Alzheimer's and it dragged out for about five years) ... and great that you took time to hear the stories. You'll want to hear the stories from their friends too, if any are still around. I love it that they're going together ... the one isn't much good without the other.

Welp, that's what happens when games are free to play online. This is why Blizzard games such as WoW have so much support, when they have $15 or whatever a month coming in from every player, its easy to keep people on board running things.

STeam is down and hosed again this weekend. You cannot play L4D without Friends. TF2 servers drop me because of my connection to the VAC servers does not exist. Why can this company NOT keep this from happening on a weekly basis? I foresee a class action in the near future unless Valve gets their poop together.
I'm concerned that perhaps they've cut back on support staff -- and that they are not a healthy business anymore.

Everyone here feel free to browse for our two css servers and let us know if you see them (instead of using your server bookmarks)I removed all filters, and refreshed. 14493 servers total, I can see our deathmatch server and the private match server. I cannot see retro.
Last nite I refreshed and saw DM, Private Match, and Retro Test. No retro. Only ~ 5000 servers total.

I remember when I was in college one year for April fools there had just been a snow storm. Some people used a trashcan to form huge snow columns that they placed around someones car. It rained/froze it into a giant igloo.
The saran wrap is probably a bit easier to deal with.

Had to look hard for this, but its our old build trophy (that sits hidden between my cube and Peter's in the space between the cube walls and the window. No body likes to look at it -- and we don't need it anymore since we switched to a continuous integration build tool. I'm not sure its actually for sale -- and if it was I'd probably buy it so it could stay where it is at. Homemade it is -- and very ugly. Its been rescued from the trash quite a few times (placed there by ppl that broke the build and were on the receiving end of the trophy).

Is that the problem where it says "the server is forcing consistency" and then fails to start a download? If I keep reconnecting, it will keep failing, but If I refresh my server list, and then reconnect, it will initiate a download.
