Yes, but pride is a big issue with a lot of people and you often get better results by calmly going to a person out of the public eye. It comes down to your motive, are you trying to call him out or are you really trying to help resolve an issue.

I use HLSW as well and in the times I have tried to connect to tropolis, only occassionally do I get the "Waiting to connect" box. The majority of the time it starts up CS then gives me a "Dropped due to slot reservation" message.

Also, for tropolis, HLSW doesn't seem to always display the reserved slots properly, which I have assued was the problem.

DOH!! I accidentally posted the real speed of my CPU instead of the AMD rating...2100+ (1.73GHz).

I use IRC a lot and am one of those "idlers". I don't idle in a lot, just the different clans from my old server, mostly because it is a quick way to get a hold of them if I need to for different things (info about a LAN, scrimming, just chatting, etc).

I am not big on having others "idle" in our channel cuz we mostly just use it for pre- and post-scrim/match/practice run-throughs.

What exactly do you mean by "black screen of death"? Does CS lock up on you or does your whole computer lock up? How do you "quit" CS?

Well, when I do a "Properites" on my "Music" folder it says 10.1GB and 2,390 files. I don't really listen to them much and the styles range from Classical to Classic Rock, Punk Rock to Christian Rock. I like just about all kinds (excluding country)

But I tend to agree. Event though a config could be made by editing your config.sys, that doesn't entirely make it legal. I mean, IMO, replacing sound is like replacing models. If gives an advantage to one person over the majority of the rest of them.
