  1. oranges > apples

    but ......

    mangos > all fruits/veggies

How can you say that?? Apples are way better than oranges. Apples are better for you than oranges. Oranges are messy, apples are easy to cut/eat. The only thing good about Oranges is orange juice (not including that Sunny D crap!). Apples you can have apple pie (ever have orange pie?...think not). Lets not forget applesauce! .... with porkchops!!! No contest.

...and you can't bring in mangos... thats like WoW vs HL2 vs Halo2. Ok, im done talking about fruits... im feeling a little weird :o

  2. Pinned for a little while. If you are going PVP and Alliance, I may be interested. I'm going to play PvE/Horde with a another guild, but I was looking to try out Alliance/PvP as well. Let us know which you decide on.

I will also Start a topic on Tuesday for the official... where you are playing, and pin it as well.

  3. I saw this movie last monday and wow, the best pixar movie to date imo!

The animation was top notch, the story was great! A little predictable for me, but I'm sure for a kid it wouldnt be.

I'd give this movie a 90/100 ...not perfect, but very incredible. ^_^

  4. One thing i'm worried about. When it does go retail and we start over. I have no clue what i'm doin on Alliance side. With horde i know where all the quest items are and where to go so i can lvl up very quickly.

I hear ya X... but think about all the newbies in the low level zones. I would think you would want to get out of those zones asap. Go horde and get up to level 10ish, then you should have another mobs in various areas. If you go Alliance and dont know the quests and where to go, your going to be spending twice as much time with getting kills and finding the areas. Either way I exspect launch to be very bumpy!

  5. AK... For what ever reason Blizzard moderators have been posting a "wipe or not to wipe" post in the general forums. Five times! They keep posting it, after about 20 pages of replies, they removed it, and post it again. They seem to be looking for something...

  6. the sole reason im still playing is so when it goes retail i'll know how to knock out that many more quest's really fast. I REALLY don't wanna be caught up in the noob storm.

I know almost all the undead quests in Deathknell, and Brill. I've done them 4x. It still wont help knowing the quests if their 100 nubs in the zone and you have to wait 30 minutes to get kills. I was for them wiping the servers, but after playing just after open beta came out...it make be a good idea to keep some of the accounts. It's going to be a very rough opening week if their is a wipe.

  7. Before you tell them Dennis, make sure you and your girlfriend have a plan on what you will, and want to do. If you can show them that you will be prepared 9 months down the road, I think it will out telling them. Either way it will still be a shock, so be prepared for that.

I still remember the day my brother told my mother that his girlfriend (now wife of 12 years). I had already found out a few days before hand, so I watched as my brother tried to ease in to the conversation about them having a baby. My mother blurts out "is she pregnant" I was drinking orange juice, I started to laugh and spit orange juice all over the place. My point is, it's a very serious and nervous thing to go through now, but a few years down the road it will likely be a cherished memory that you tell your son/daughter/family/friends. Best of luck in the next few months, and be there for her!

  8. I did a lot of research before I purchased my HDTV. The common information I found was that Hitachi has the best 2 models out on the market for CRT project HDTV's, and then followed by the Sony kp57ws520 (which is what I bought). I'm curious what model of Hitachi your friend has. I didnt have a problem watching my TV on a 45 angle about 8 feet away, although it's just not the same as sitting straight ahead..

As far as my tv is concerned..

    PRO's:

    Great over all picture.

cheaper than the Hitachi, and other high rated brands.

    reliable company

KP##es5## familiy has been around for 3 years so most of the glitches are worked out

    CON's:

Each TV from what I read reacts a bit different to certain colours, my TV doesnt have a great handle on bright reds on a dark background.

I get motion sickness playing Halo2 lol

If you get a rear projection... do the research, no TV is perfect and will have some different habits with colour, and screen detail.
