I wanted to propose this on the other thread but it's locked.

 

If points could be awarded based on how high the hunter pounce is done with a starting 6.7 points at the minimum distance for a 25 dmg pounce and 12.5 for a pounce where the hunter is 2-3x higher, then hunter would have the choice of possibly landing a 6.7 points per pounce or risk getting nothing when trying to get a pounce worth 12.5 points.

Hunter points should be upped by 1.5 points, 7 is a little low. K? k. Cause now all people do is boom, and it's impossible to kill infected and now people are getting points off of that. I think hunters should be upped by 1.5 pts, so people can stop complaining. )))) Cause it's getting real annoying

Dont be a hunter or a boomer unless the time is right. Be a jockey ,smoker ,spitter, charger . Team work should kill kill survivors  not somebody who climbs up and jumps down 4 times

Its only the hunters who complain

When the team is boomers the survivors walk thru the infected. So to make up for that you think hunters should get astronomical amount of points

Maybe we can play the maps that are not hunter friendly now??

for the life of me I dont understand why does a hunter get some many points for  a pounce when  you only get 5 for a death charge

i dont get any for a long smoke or a charger doesnt get any for a long charge.

Or change it so EVERY SI gets  a tank when they get their achievement.

It seems like only the hunters think its too low. 

Keep in mind that this change to the Hunter is not going to be permanent.  Smoker's and Jockey's points per damage tick was increased as well.

 

All this is a "workshop" period.

I hope it stays  Its nice to teamwork win games not Hunters.

Maybe the hunter metality will go away I sure hope so.

These "good" players aint so "good" with out hunter pounce points. Maybe they will become team players?   I doubt it but ya never know

I hear the same old story how hard it is to pounced   I have to laugh at that  try being a smoker

I miss the old days when the team tried to kill the survivors  not see how many points they could get.

we need a team player server and a hunter mentality server

the hunter should get points for the amount of damage he inflicts  not how high up he can get .

just like the boomer booming them get so many point's just for getting bile on the survivors with No damage dont at all

if i help a charger get a death charge i get nothing as a smoker and the charger gets 5 points for a death charge . A hunter ponces and gets12 points   Whats wrong with this picture?

Smokers dont need more points they need longer tongues and they need to move

And i think the smoker under the map is just in a invisible caves equates to hunters jumping on the sky

The  "good" players care more about their ppm then killing the survivors   That should change.

all i'm getting from this conversation is that we should nerf the hunter because it discourages teamplay and encourages arrogance.

There hasn't been teamplay on GC in about 2years give or take.. It has been play for *Sky Diver for atleast a year now.

Just for clarification, this is a "no using rocket/ghost glitches to phase yourself into places" problem? Or does this bar us from doing things like standing outside the elevator on Dead Center's finale to boom or landing on the raft in Swamp Fever and blowing up too?
