What exactly is the back end for something like that? Are they using just satellite or a satellite/radio antenna system? I'm presuming the latter because there is no way a purely satellite link could get that fast up/downs.

Pointers make my brain hurt. When i read the chapter in my c++ book on memory addressing, i just put my head down and sobbed. The sad part about it is, that it's a fundamental part of game programming and graphics engine design. relevant

i work at a small computer company and my boss is literally swearing over the phone, because all of the "distributors" are holding drives to increase the price. its pretty bad right now, i don't think I've sold even 4 hdds this week. i'm not on commission so it doesn't effect me that badly, but the bonuses for those drives do come in handy...
