Logitech G500. Got it on sale for $29.99. Awesome mouse.

I was using the Logitech MX3000 combo for many years, but the mouse died. Considered a lot of options but always came back to the G500. Happen to see it on sale at Newegg and snatched it up.

Can't recommend anything from Razer. Had a bad experience with them.

I think Logitech makes the best mouse for the buck. Especially if you can get it on sale.

I remember seeing this some time ago and thought, "meh" but I revisited the website over the weekend and it looks very interesting. I've been really interested in space sims lately for some reason and if there is some general interest in this I may look into getting a ship. I've also been looking at X Rebirth. Since I'm pretty green to space sims I'd like to venture out. I played Homeworld back in the day and the last one I bought (Sins of a Solar Empire) I enjoyed.

Yeah, I'm on the fence about this.

I can already just hook my t.v. to my computer to play games on there if I wanted to (which I don't.) 99% of the games I have on my Steam account I play (and would only want to play) with a keyboard and mouse.

If the Steam Box were a truly powerful little box and you could upgrade it that would eliminate the need for a gaming PC, which could save me money verses building a gaming PC every 5-6 years or so.

Right now there just isn't enough incentive for me to go in that direction. Unless they went and did something silly like make Half Life 3 a Steam Box exclusive.

Besides, with my 3 year old son I'm saving the "home console" experience with the Wii U.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with using a SSD as a cache drive paired with a standard HDD. I'm reading that Intel is the way to go and that the third party software and dedicated cache drives are not worth it. I already have a 1 TB drive for my next build but I was leaning towards another AMD build hence the third party stuff since AMD has no SSD cache solution. So, if Intel's solution is worth it I want to look into it. Larger SSD drives are still out of my budget at the moment. Any input will be appreciated.

The guys from Penny Arcade sat down and played through the console version up to the Skeleton King on the PS3 version. The video kinda shows that control scheme and gives you a idea of whats going on.

Not sure how I feel about this game. I love the depth that it offers, but I'm afraid that it's just going to be a horrific grind. I'll need to do more investigating, but I did enter a contest to win a copy.

I started playing again just for fun. I'm using my Monk and cruising on MP3, but I feel I may be able to go a little higher. My monk is only doing 25k but I can usually survive any number of elites. I'm trying to build up my gold to get the higher gear and weapons. Its slow going but it's still holding my interest.

I just read that the western version of PSO2 will make its debut at PAX Prime. It may still make it to us in 2013 after all.

Wasn't there another post about this to help those who were interested start playing and learning the game against bots with other GC members? I'm still interested in playing.

I got a copy and I have never played it. I watched a few matches and until you can host your own game or make it invite only or something that can filter out all the 'undesirables' I refuse to try it. I'm seeing the same ugly, disrespect for your fellow gamer in every match that I watch and I don't want to even deal with it. Same reason I don't want to play LoL. Until we can host our own games and have GC admins in control I'm just going to put it on the back burner. If that has changed recently I will definitely start to play.

I'm going through my... 4th play though. Got my soldier to level 61 and just about at the Warrior in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. I'll go through all the DLC again as well. I have some lower level alts that I could level as well. If anyone is at level 50 and in need of some decent weapons I still have a few in my inventory I'll slide anyones way if they need it. They are useless in Ultimate but I hung onto them. Message me on Steam.

I was thinking on upgrading to a GTX 560 Ti on my current computer to replace the Radeon 4850. Don't really want to spend the money on a new computer right now and I thought that the 560 Ti would be the best card for my system.

I just got the Rosewill 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset RHTS-8206. These replaced the terrible Razer Carcharias I had. Great sound at a decent price.

I just got a 13" Macbook Pro. Mid 2009 model. My boss gave it to me. After ordering the factory DVD from Apple ($18!) I formatted and reinstalled. Some of the things mentioned in this thread I knew about, but I want to be more knowledgeable about Mac's. I plan to use it as my work lappy. I'm going to order more RAM for it and upgrade to Lion. After that I'll be installing all my Adobe programs so I can work on the road or use it when meeting with clients.

The most important upgrade though is deciding on what decal I need to put on it.

I played this last weekends open beta for Marvel Heroes. It wasn't bad. Looks to be a decent dungeon crawler. Played Iron Man and downed the first 4 "bosses." Anyone else play or interested in playing?

Nothing is really known right now. They are calling it the "Dark Enterprise" online. Still no word as to what class or its purpose in the movie. Speculation is that it is a warship that that federation has been building in secret that falls into the hands of Benedict Cumbercatch's character during the movie. It has a cut out in the center of the saucer section and from other images online it is armored, has multiple photon torpedo tubes and phasers all over the place. I hope it isn't another "mirror universe" thing. We're already in an alternate timeline from the events of the first movie so I don't think it will be that. I'm thinking more like the secret Section 8 (or was it 10?) A covert branch of the Federation charged with protecting Federations "interests" with any means needed.

I'm hoping that the movie is playing along the lines of the genetically enhanced humans story that ultimately lead to the Kahn story in the original Trek. From all the previews and trailers thats what makes the most sence to me anyways. Still, perhaps JJ came up with something new that will surprise us all.

I'm not going to be playing CS:GO until I build my next rig. My current comp just can't do it if the server is full. If there are only 10 people on then I play fine, but once it's starts filling up my fps drops and gameplay suffers. So, hopefully I'll be getting it together by the end of the summer.

The MojoFloCam is a stabilization device for cell phones and small cameras. He's been working on it for over a year and finally are at a point with a prototype that he is satisfied with to now launch and move forward.
