Sorry to read that people were saying those things, Lilly. :(   People should certainly be more respectful.

    xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Thank you, Dixie!  So sorry for the rant, most people here have been extremely patient with me, which I really appreciate.

i always feel the urge to nitpick about wasted tanks, even tho my tank play has always been a pile of manure.

aww.. I certainly don't mind any nitpicking or somebody telling me that I should get that dumpster behind the alley or get up here to throw rocks.  I get disoriented easily so I would benefit from advice like this. >_<

Hey Lilly, you don't need to worry about anything anymore because.... I have your back :)

I have this advice whenever you get tank: Just stop, keep calm, and THROW ROCKS. Do what I invented ;)

  2. Oh, I'm guilty of being responsible for number 8. I usually try to kill anything that moves. My bad, guys.

But come on, boomers aren't going to kill themselves you know. Someone has to shoot them, or else they might buy a suicide. Hm...now that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I guess I can let boomers let themselves buy a suicide.....

.... no, you know what? Screw that. I'm not going to let some boomer thug puke on me OR my teammates AND get away with it. They must die! I must kill all boomers at all costs! >:3

Oh boy! That update of recovering your lost points once you crash sounds awesome!! Thank you for that :)

On a side note: For those of you that experience game crashes every 90 minutes (approximately), I found a way to stop that. If you leave the GAME (NOT JUST the server, the GAME itself) and then rejoin the server, this will reset your future game crash.

For example, if you play for about an hour, you're probably going to be more likely to crash within the next 30 minutes. Leaving the game entirely and rejoining the server is going to reset your game crash for another 90 minutes. This means you won't experience any game crashes if you use this counter-tactic. Trust me, it actually works.

I know leaving the game and rejoining the server might be similar to crashing. However, you'll at least be in control when you leave the game instead of just crashing randomly in the middle of a round. I recommend leaving/rejoining the server once a chapter ends or something. Again, this is for the people that experience game crashes every 90 minutes or so.

Hopefully, this update will allow you to retrieve your lost points once you rejoin the server after leaving :)

why is your game crashing all the time?

    My PC kinda sucks.

  4.

It'd be better if it was hordes about every 6-7 survivor !heals

That won't do anything really, 1 set of fireworks or a molly destroys them. The only hordes that actually do anything in this game are ones with fire-suits, or unlimited horde for special events like the roller coaster on dark carnival.

Ooh, don't forget about the uncommon infected with riot gear ;)

  5. It'd be interesting to see an accuracy category. It'd be cool to see which one of you guys are among the most accurate in the server. We gots to know! :3

  6.

Did I read correctly recently that "I Hate Mountains" was causing issues?

Yes, if I remember it was on chapter 3 the infected team would crash whenever their spawn timer was up.

Do we still do custom maps ever? What about Jackie Pathing?

Yes and No, it's hard to get 20 people for custom nights unless they know in advance.

Now for Jackie's pathing I don't know if is the same as normal pathing(pretty sure it's not) not many people like it unless they want a little challenge.

Jackie's pathing is cool depending on the map.

However, VIP? Now THAT's a fun gimmick for a game in the server :D

  7. Hm.... I wonder if there is a section to see how many achievements someone has earned for all-time; but I bet this is impossible to feature.

For example, it'd be cool to see who's gotten the Untouchable achievement the most times out of anyone! We need to see who does nothing as survivors :P

  8.

Hey Tsu, I'm in the same boat as you. Just hopped on for the first time in like 2yrs yesterday and loved it. It really is an awkward feeling, wanting to play but afraid you suck, and you don't know anyone who is on. I played a vanilla level first and owned them so I joined into one of GCs. I was better than the people who had just bought it on sale!  :hihi:

BTW I love seeing your makeup pictures on Facebook! Your work is really awesome. Looking forward to your Halloween stuff.

I totally get that !! haha, well i'm glad you like my makeups :P I work hard on these :)

Congrats on the promo! Hope one day, you can return, one day!

Thank you! I'll eventually build a pc and i'll stream or maybe start a youtube channel :P

Oh, please stream if you can! The people here in GC love streamers :)

  9. What's new since you've been gone? Hm...

. An influx of new members/regulars that play on the servers now (2014-present)

. Jockey and Smoker points for their damage have been buffed up

. Points from high damage pounces have been reduced from 12.5 points to 8 points

. Swamp Fever and Crash Course have been removed from the map cycle

. A 2nd rock achievement has been added; you need to throw 10 rock hits on the survivors successfully

. Elite Gandalf and Meng stream the server often live on twitch when they play

. New admins have been chosen

. A 2nd untouchable achievement has been added; you need to be untouched by any infected for 6 minutes

. The glitch where survivors inside the No Mercy elevator fall through has been fixed

. There is a new update where if you crash/disconnect/leave the game, you get to keep your points when you join back

There are many more that has happened in the servers while you were gone, and there are still many more that has yet to come!

    Welcome back!! :D

  10. Maybe that member command can just be exclusive to only finales if many people want it badly.

At least this skip addition would spare everyone a half-hour if it's a lengthy and tedious finale. (Ex: Airport, Boathouse, etc.)

  11. No, not by me you crazy fools! :P

For those of you that haven't been exposed to his guitar skills, please allow me to introduce to you all the gift of Joda. Drink it man! :)

Check out this video he made. You guys are going to be soo impressed by him!

Edit: I'm sorry about posting a link that you need to click on to see this video. I thought it would be available automatically for everyone to see it.

  12. Last night, I tried my method of leaving/rejoining to reset my game crash. I rejoined my old team in that same round, but I didn't get my points I had before I left. I was in the infected team, and the map we were playing was Swamp Fever.

I left/rejoined twice in that same campaign. The first time I exited my game ENTIRELY and rejoined the server a minute later; which is my method I use to reset my game crashes. The second time I simply left the server and rejoined again seconds later. I didn't recover the points I lost either way.

By the way, I only experimented the point retention on Swamp Fever so far. I don't know if it works for the other campaigns. I'm not sure if you HAVE to actually crash in order to recover your points. I'll try investigating the point retention again later tonight, and let you know what happens.

  14. Yea, I think the firework limit to 5 is fine the way it is.

The fireworks are not spammed by the survivors like they were a year and a half ago. Instead, they're being used strategically; just as Red Devil said.

The molotovs are also not spammed by the survivors. The only exception to that is when there is a tank that has spawned. Other than that, they are not bought that often.

  15.

I think we should up the limit to 6 or 7.

A lot of the time I'm with players who doesnt want to buy any firework or do not know how to, especially when carrying a team.

The limit is outrageously low, and making it very hard to move on.

Limiting the fireworks is like giving the infected a 12.5 points hunter pounce all day !

If players don't want to buy fireworks or don't know how to buy them, I doubt increasing the limit is going to make much of a difference.

The limit is not too low. If survivors are getting overwhelmed by commons or the special infected at one area, just buy a Molotov. There are some major advantages to buying this:

    1. It saves your ammo from shooting the firework crate

    2. It allows you to aim where you're going to throw your Molotov

    3. It can be used for not only close ranges, but it can also be used for far distances as well

    4. It takes less time to buy and use a Molotov compared to the firework crates

    5. It makes you less vulnerable to getting stuck and overwhelmed by commons/special infected when using the Molotov due to Advantage #4

Besides, it's not like the survivors abuse the Molotov.

If anything, increasing the firework limit significantly or making it unlimited again will be like giving the survivors 12.5 points similar to the hunter pounce. They would likely just use them, and abuse them whenever the survivors get attacked by a few commons. You say that limiting the firework limit would give the infected a huge advantage, but increasing the limit or removing it altogether will likely cause the opposite effect.

carols dont qoute my post when you are not reading it clearly, this is an order.

     What? I misread?

    btw it's Carlos :P

  16. They shouldn't be a total replacement for molotovs like they basically are now. There are loads of molotovs and gas cans in nearly every map anyway. How much hand holding do survivors need when it comes to fire?

Molotovs aren't a total replacement if firework crates are still available to buy. Players just need to use them wisely because of the firework limit.

Those loads of molotovs and gas cans are not really spammed as much as you say it is. Almost every item spawns in nearly every map (melee weapons, magnums, defibs, pills, pipe bombs, etc.) Gas cans are rarely bought, and they spawn at some certain points in the campaigns. Molotovs usually spawn in areas where the survivors would have to do some shopping in order to retrieve them. Unless there is a tank that has spawned, the molotovs aren't bought that often.

I'm not sure if you were around before early 2015, but there was a time when everyone used to spam the firework crates like they were candy. Back then, you could've said that there was way more hand-holding for the survivors than there is now.

If firework crates are actually abused in spite of the firework limit like you say it is, then maybe Architect's idea of a team limit and an individual limit could work. No worries, though. You don't have to worry about me abusing/buying the firework crates lol

  17. I think we should up the limit to 6 or 7.

  18. Carlos,

You should check out our Discord voice channel.  GC'ers are on there voice-chatting all the time, playing a lot of different games.  It would be perfect for this kind of game.

The link to our discord channel is on the forums' front page right now... or maybe pasting it here will work...

    Does this work?

    https://discordapp.com/invite/0wosTNVYMD3Mbk3J?utm_source=Discord%20Widget&utm_medium=Connect

Yea, it's been a little while since I've used Discord, but using it for the Jackbox games sounds good to me! Hopefully we can get a game going soon.

The link doesn't work for me :(
