Boxee makes me want to buy an AppleTV. How awesome would it be to watch Hulu on my regular tv?

Redistribution of the wealth from the richest may make some super rich people and companies that don't truly deserve their wealth less....wealthy...but if the effect is that the largest corporations no longer feel the need (or the profitability) to be the largest corporations then in the long run, humanity as a whole could be hurt.

The simple truth is that quite often it is the richest, largest companies that come up with the technologies and advancements that help humanity.

There may be a few Dean Kamen's in the world, but for every one of them there are probably 10 corporations dumping millions of dollars into research and development looking for that next "big thing" that may very well be something that society as a whole needs.

I used to find The Bob and Tom show to be hilarious...until I realized that the guys themselves were just 12 year old boys in men's bodies.

The comedians they have are awesome though.

Seems like you need to find out every feeling she has about your relationship and examine yourself honestly to figure out where you went wrong. NEVER go into a situation like this trying to figure out what the other person did wrong. ALWAYS try to figure out what you did wrong.

It's pretty easy to stop watching these shows. Force yourself to go two weeks without it and you'll be off the hook. I didn't even know that Heroes was on tonight. It didn't even enter my mind until I saw this post.

There was an issue with that build on Hulu streams.

The put out an update so just go to your download page and redownload. Make sure you have version 3964 or later to fix the Hulu issue.

(the issue was that it wouldn't make it past the 1st commercial break in the stream)

It can hook up to a MythTV backend...which means if you have a MythTV box recording things you can watch those things using Boxee...so that's close.

This is the worst idea ever. I have no idea who half you people are anymore.

I'll stick with the awkward Playaa/Pselus because I'm nostalgic.

Now if only my internet connection at home would WORK! (I'm consistently getting a 300k/sec connection when I'm signed up for a 3mb/sec connection)...then I could play around with this Hulu thing more.

It looks incredibly promising.

I'm thinking of building a sub-$200 ubuntu box and building myself a media center. I mean, who needs to pay for cable when you can download any tv show out there or stream most of them from Hulu?

I just got into the Alpha yesterday for Boxee and I have to say, this thing is rockin!

My favorite part about it, is that it automatically hooks up to Hulu and other online streaming sites (including YouTube) for video viewing.

You can even run it on AppleTV if you choose to.

Never been to Bruno's so I couldn't compare it to Favazza's. I have only tried 3 places on The Hill, Favazza's, Mama Campisi's and a 3rd I don't remember the name of. The first time I went to Mama Campisi's was my first date with my girlfriend. There was a "crooner" (Frank Sinatra type) there singing live and we sat outside and watched the neighborhood while being serenaded. I have to say that the atmosphere on The Hill is like a New York borough from the '50s. Well worth a visit to ANY restaurant there.

And Alvin - would you mind editing your post? You've got a spoiler in there, I for one didn't know that about the Harry Potter bit yet.

The statute of limitations on spoilers dies after a year. It has been a year and 4 months. No excuses about "I'm waiting for the movie" either because people who wait for a movie when they could read a book deserve to have spoilers thrown at them.
