He had a nice script that kept rotating his name. Most of the time he'll run and shoot shock. No jumping, no vehicles, just botting the shock or lightning. A couple of clan folk on the same team tried to distract him, but usually they want attention, so probably not the best thing to do. The best was a good player found where he was spawning, so he ran him over with a Manta like 9 times. Couldn't do much and kept spawning and trying to goto the weapons locker with the shock. Hehe. At least we know his UT2004 stat number so if he pops in, you can tag his GUID or IP? It'll at least help keep the GC server clean if he shows up.

Thanks Flitter. GC has tons of good folk. Too bad there's people out there that ruin the game and the comraderie. Probably means they're hurting in real life. Hope they get some help, poor dude.

Hey guys, long time no see! Hope all is well. I was playing on the SCK server and the following player: http://ut2004stats.epicgames.com/playersta...?player=1180512 kept making a lot of bad remarks about Christians and how GC supports it. Poor taste talking about religious hate stuff. I'm not sure if it was Dingy or not, (hopefully not), but he was playing as Dingy/-=GC=-/. I asked him to stop, but he wouldn't. I think eventually Avedis or Kiss? kicked him possibly. Thought you guys would want to know. I know my church sends tons of people to help rebuild New Orleans, our community, and poor areas around the world. Hate talk like that is definitely not OK with me. Thanks.

Too bad because it looks like a top notch in skills clan guy in disguise not having a good nite (it's possible he was mebbe drunk or something being New Year's eve and I just returned from a party myself and was playing to wind down). X-Razer was there as witness. Thanks much. Everyone else stopped whining once Wentzy came in, and he left. Sorry I haven't replied. I have to be out of town for a week on family stuff, but I'll be back and will scrim when possible. Thanks for the interest . It was fun playing with you the other nite.

So when is the next scrim? These guys are getting really good. It should be fun. I'm also open to mixing teams, and playing with more than 6 vs 6, so we can have a lot of people from both teams get fragging experience, and try things out so it's not so serious.

SofaKing: You seem like a nice enuf fella. Caution on what? I did notice you specifically told me: Dew: Man... banning switchers?! Why? you'll ultimately *pi$$* (tinkle, wth!) off your audience. For example: me.(followed with:) Oh my..., you guys are crazy. lightnen up... So exclamation marks thru out the paragraphs, statements about being crazy, lightening up, letting people know they could run their server better, or else it'll tick you off... I'd caution going on someone's server and insulting them. Just a suggestion. But in context I see you're just trying to make a point and not being malicious about it, just like me. Semantics I expect. But it's all just a game for fun. So no need to go insulting each other. Hope to see you in the server. If not, have fun elsewhere too. Fun game. Serves me right for trying to be nice and answer a question. I don't have admin or ban rights, so I'm not sure why you're yelling at me. I do support fair, fun play, and GC servers rock in terms of 99% of the people being fun, good skillz, etc. It's what drew me to these servers. Remind me not to answer another pub question.

It's upto the Admins, but the bots were originally put in because teams were always uneven. The bots are set at such a high level to make up for it. When we didn't have bots we always had peeps switching to one side, and the other would be 2 to 3 peeps down. At least with bots, if one is decent, a team understaffed by 2 to 3 has a chance. This still happened with 10 peeps in there. I think the auto-adjust was tried and still in place, but I'm not sure how effective it is. People switched back anyway. But who knows. Today all those switchers might have left or been banned.

Yeah, it was too bad. I saw there was a scrim going on between SCK and LCD, and the match between KONA and 187. Too many peeps for both, so the extras were coming onto the KoNA server and MOBO II. But they all left fast with that weird stuff. I DID see right before I logged off "Speed Hack Detected". Not sure if it actually did, or it was just lagging bad and sometimes in old UT that's how it came out? Sorry, not computer savvy. It was a smaller map - Arctic, not one of the big ones. By the way, JollyGreenGiant is my neighbor 2 blocks down. The one who got me hooked on UT and dragged me to LAN parties. He actually is like 6'5". We play a lot of volleyball together. Nice guy, he's thinking of joining GC, if his wife (who's nice too) let's him. She's pretty athletic and rides horses, so we try to play when she rides. Talk him into it.
