I did Landscaping a few summers, and drinking pop just dehydrated me. Lots of water for that summer heat. In another irony, I try not to drink pop, but I'll take some at work late in the afternoon some days if I need to get a lot of work done and need to stay sharp. But it's worth the hard work. Pay is great, and we're saving lives/treating disease. I don't think I'll give up my air conditioning again though unless it's for fun outdoor stuff. I gotta get back to my regular workout routine. I play a lot of volleyball and I was a step behind my friend (to my defense, she did a triathalon last year) while playing on sand this week. Too much UT?! Not sure what this emoticon is. Just kinda weird, spinning. Kinda cracks me up.

Really? That clan guy was sucking and swearing? Or you're saying you were playing bad? (If it was you sucking, then you were still pwning me. ) That's too bad. You should remind him it's just a game, and it's all just for fun. I'm pretty conservative and don't swear. Folks swearing just fuels more anger, I think. They should take ice cream breaks and spec Kor or Brillow kickin butt. Mmmm, ice cream. Ironically, I was drinking milk at the time when I had a snack today. Mountain dew tastes great, but the drink's not good for ya....

Fatty is pretty smart, that fella recruiting Kor. Korodas has the skillz and the great attitude; quite an addition to a clan. You were kickin some serious booty this weekend Kor. I however, was stinkin. heh. So, you're welcome Brillow, Uber, Penty, Cutelittlerabbit, etc. for me letting you guys pad your stats with all the fraggin you did on me. Still all fun. Ah, fun times.

Thanks for the replys. Yeah, it's tough. I usually don't switch in the middle of the game either. It's tough with people coming and going, and usually if it's way unbalanced, it's almost over quickly anyway. I like to switch at the map rotation (or if it's starting the same map again for tie-breaks) and try to even it out. One or two peeps are OK as off-balanced, but it's the 10 vs 4 games that sux. Just annoying when people switch to the winning team half way thru or at the end when they're loosing. Or yeah, sometimes just right at the beginning to stack a team. Some of the best games I've played is when I'm on a team with Korodas or Brillow and we're taking on a team of very good people. It's a fun challenge. And it is fun to see someone you know and play with them too once in a while if you never get to, and it won't unbalance the teams too badly. Heh, well Brillow, I have to say if that's how you got so good, maybe we all should be switching to loosing teams to get better. You crazy pancaking Manta driver you. In the end, it's just a game. A stinkin, fun addictive game, but just a game. It's been fun. See ya on the servers dudes.

Ah, finally a bunch of GC folk came in and evened the teams. Now that was a long, fun game. Thanks Brillow, Penty, RuffRyda...

Just wanted to add, for the most part the server is still the best with good sportsmanship and play. And all the times I've played with GC peeps before were good. Not sure what happened with folks today.

That was one of the worst series of games ever today. There were 3 or 4 good peeps on RED, and then two or more of the BLUE good peeps would switch over to RED. That would leave me, and TechnoGenius on BLUE and we'd get slaughtered. It didn't help we had that Alex kid who would take all the goodies and then not do anything (it's OK if newer peeps play, but teams could try to balance it out). Please try to even teams out and at least not switch to make it ridiculous. I even saw a GC player do it. Come on guys, you guys are better than that. Plus, you're good enough that if you went BLUE, we'd have had a spirited, competitive game. What's the point in playing otherwise? If at least one or two stayed, then I'd have kept playing but 10 (with 6 good peeps in the mix) vs 4 (2 good peeps in the mix) is no fun. Thanks for listening to my appeal to having fun games for everyone.

Thanks dwEEziL. GGs the last few nites. It's even cool with me if we loose if the teams are even. Usually I follow Korodas play to wins, but I remember one map, like 5 very good peeps got on RED and we had a tough fight (a few nites back). We almost had them too. Uber has me on his hood ornament. Maaaaan. He got me like 4 times in 2 minutes with that Manta. Serves me right for not having an Avril present wrapped and ready to deliver to good ol' uber.

Oh, btw, do you guys chat on an irc or something like that? My old clan did that a lot (original UT - heh, they're still very active on ladders, good peeps but haven't gone to UT2004) and it was a great way to swap stories and get to know each other. Peeps from all over the world. I do research and development for products that treat heart disease, so not the savviest at online computer stuff. I do enuf to get by and play, but otherwise I DO try to go out hang with friends outside. Heh. (My neighbor who's a software engineer helped me put my computer together - ah, such a good friend.)

Penty, you crack me up. See you on the server dude. Let's play on the same teams.

Heh. Sorry about that. I don't recall doing that too much or playing with you. Hmmm, and unfortunately I'm getting too close to Penty's playing hours. I should just join just like Fatty suggests. GC is a good group of peeps. Btw, I almost always jump in and then wait, whether it's the Manta or the Hellbender. I try to look back and jump backwards to see if anyone is following in case I do have to wait (e.g. Dawn). I however WILL jump in now, because sometimes if I jump on the wing of the Manta, a bot will take it and fly circles. gah! But I'll wait. Some peeps try to do a single jump, but that usually doesn't work. Brillow gets it and just double jumps to get on the wing easily. (He also waits too if he gets there first. It's also fun playing with Brillow.)

I like playing with Korodas. Not only is he one of the best players on the server, he also plays very sportsman-like. Other folk switch teams if they're loosing, but Korodas switches to the loosing team if it's horribly stacked one way. He also shares the Manta to get to a node together. Way to go man. (By the way, stinkin bots. Always taking the Manta and then they most of the time don't even goto the node. )

LOL. That was fun. Thanks for covering my back Brillow. (Brillow and I were at an enemy node trying to knock it out, but they got ours just before we finished theirs. heh. All those RED folk kept spawning there and I was stuck since I had to bail on my Manta. But good old Brillow kept squashing them for me.) I almost said, go ahead and leave me, but was hoping we'd get our node back up so we could finish theirs. We had them too until Ubernoob joined them. Tied 1-1, too bad we couldn't finish it. Lots of good folk playing. Thanks for the Jedi mind trick Nubus. I'm still in denial about how addictive this game is... trying to enjoy outdoors of the summer as much as I can; so sticking to just some LANs for now, instead of ladders. (My buddie got me hooked on it that way.) I'll have to see. I have no problem supporting a good server if I go /-=GC=-/ someday (fee). It's work and $ to run a good server/clan. Hmm..as long as I can keep my addiction, I mean my hours played at half of Penty's....

Nice job on the fun UT2004 ONS site. Clean play and language too.
