  1. Sweet! The more players playin' on this server, the better. That translates into playing with less bots that have perfect turret aim. -Kor --On a seperate issue...anyone else noticed that a bot in a tank turret is SUPER deadly? I was trying to kill a tank with a manta earlier today, and a bot happened to be in the turret. It drained my manta's health in like 5 seconds!!! NO human player has EVER done that to me with a tank turret.
  2. OH MY! Not a single person on here has a computer as slow as mine...no wonder I get pwned!! My FPS is probably always lower than the person I am fighting with! (which is why I use tanks and spider mines so often) AMD 1600+ 384 MB Ram Radeon 7200 I do have 5.1 surround sound that I turn up VERY loud when I play! Live in a pretty sound-proof house so the sound of tanks blasting is no problem. -Kor
  3. Man..My summer job is working for Pepsi in one of their warehouses. I tell you what!!! I drink WAY too much Mountain_Dew!! It is an excellent drink, with TONS of caffeine. It's gonna be tough to get off my addiction once I go back to college. It wasn't the clan guy that was swearing, but I did notice a few others say some choice words. -Kor (Maybe that's why I'm playing decent lately...my synapses are firing at an extra fast rate due to the higher than normal caffeine intake)
  4. So I was having a particularly good couple of rounds in onslaught today, and I guess somebody from another clan began to spec me. As mountain_dew can bear witness too, this same person began to ask me if I would join his clan for probably a good 3 games straight. I'm just curious, do you guys have a policy regarding other clans recruiting on your server? -Kor
  5. Keeping the teams even is very important to me. It keeps the games competitive, and leads to less frustration and better in-game conduct. Nothing gets people more ticked off than uneven teams. If I see that the teams are uneven, I usually wait until the end of the round to see if anybody joins/leaves. If the teams are still not evened up, then I will switch. As far as evening up for skill, that often times is hard to judge. I rarely, if ever, even teams based on skill. I usually just wait for the game to end and the next game teams are typically mixed a little better. The most important thing is to keep an eye on the teams during a match. If the game is competitive, losing just two members of your team can make a HUGE difference. Also, on GC's server, it is important to count bots as well--sometimes they get way off balance, and nobody notices because the the team sizes are the same. Honestly though, I have rarely run into a problem on GC's server and that is why it is one of my favorites. I know that Mountain_Dew always makes an effort to keep the teams balanced if they are horrendously stacked one way or the other, and I have seen Penty and other GC members do that as well. Anyways, just my two cents. Game on my friends! -Kor
  6. Thanks Dew! Regarding the switching teams thing--Last night while playing crossfire, about three of us (you were one of them) tried to switch at the same time to help even things out. Ended up getting like 3 suicides trying to keep the teams even. Next time I'll just ask before I switch. And Brillow did make me into his hood ornament yesterday. He sure loves that Manta!! Played in quite a few competitive games yesterday and had a blast! -Kor
  7. Sup All! After many weeks of frequenting your server, I have finally decided to stop by and say hi! Just wanted you all to know that your server has grown to be one of my favorites over the past few weeks. Good competition, good attitudes, and best of all--low ping! -Kor
