Once you get exaulted status with them they will sell you fat shwag or so I've heard. Of course I don't know of anyone who has achieved exalted status with them.. From what I've been told once you hit honored they let you buy some potions from them. The next level lets you buy potions+mediocre goods (armors/weapons?) Then exalted is the uber gear. Since its after christmas and I can post again because the fat man unlocked it... I would just like to say (again) that despite all of the problems I have had with WoW CS and the general downtimes that this launch has been relatively good compared to every other MMORPG I've ever played. Anarchy Online was a laggy, buggy mess with next to zero customer support when it went retail. Daoc was a buggy mess without most of its promised content and very little customer support when it went retail. Earth and Beyond... well that game just sucked to begin with and the CS was absolutely horrible even after retail. Planetside: SoE production (nuff said). EQ/EQ2: More SoE titles, see planetside. SWG: So many exploits it ruined the economy and it was only dealt with after it became so widespread it could not be ignored, after that the economy was already ruined (atleast on the server I played on). Shadowbane: Lag, Exploits and Dupes oh my! Most of these never got fixed although their CS did start trying to catch exploiters after they had to shut down their 3rd(?) server. Lineage 2: Possibly the worst game I have ever had the misfortune of playing. Poor CS, non english-speaking devs (we had no way to give input to the korean devs), failure to deal with "ebay adena farmer" problems and a level grind combined with items loss/delevel and open pvp that almost puts EQ to shame. (Those koreans love their hardcore games) After playing all of these I think blizzard is doing a completely awesome job. Atleast mediocre customer service is better than none and atleast you got a reply to your email gun. From a business standpoint their CS isn't "uber" but it is the best I have ever dealt with in a MMORPG. Blizzard is actually raising the benchmark for other MMORPGs as far as CS and game content.

If WoW isn't up go do something else like play CS:S or go on a date. I'm actually pleased that blizzard is trying to fix these problems. If it was SoE they would take down the servers and have them back up right on time but not fix anything.

I don't know how much the changes in the last patches affected priests but I know before the patch they were one of the few classes that stood a chance vs my rogue equal level. If I don't time kidney shot just right vs a priest after cheapshotting him then the chain fear begins which usually means I have to blow a health pot and flee after it wears off. Of course if I get the kidney shot its all over, kidney shot+thistle tee+3-4 sinister strikes+cold blood+eviserate=dead <anything but a pally>

Using Innervate I can spam cast any spell for 20 seconds without having to worry about power consumption, heals for groups or moonfire for pvp (or both) or I can use it on a mage/warlock to let them spam cast. I can use nature's grasp as a sort of get out of melee free card when needed. Finally with shapeshifting I can move from cat form+prowl to casting form without any downtime so I popup and I've already rooted them or starfired them because of Nature's Swiftness.

I'm 28/24 on my warrior/druid. Should be 29/25 tonight. I'm hoping when I get done with finals and the software release at work is finished I'll have more time to play.

Horde does have alot of dedicated levelers. I know quite a few professional guilds migrated from shadowbane (corruption/chaos servers) and dark age (palomides server). We also have alot of professional powerlevelers from EQ who make serious cash off of selling accounts online (2 such are in my guild and while still maintaining day jobs they are both in their mid 40s).

I wish cosmos would work in 800x600 windowed resolution. I seem to freeze alot with the game in 800x600 full screen or 1024x768 full screen

I'm glad to see your not picking on lowbies ak. I wish I could say that for all alliance/horde members but alas each realm has it low-down griefers who gets kicks from killing lowbies (and no I haven't been griefed yet).

I'm just curious...how many of you on alliance are playing paladins. I know ak is playing a mage. BTW zeho, Kalimdor is where all our shamans are so goodluck with that^

Hehehe sorry, I went there a few times and it was nearly as laggy as org is during peak time. Is everyone else alliance? I was thinking when we all get highlevel we could do some dueling or something once a week for kicks. Could all get on teamspeak and just hangout in some zone fighting 1v1, 2v2, ect depending on how many people from each side we can get to show up. I think some guildies of mine in Casters of Exile might be interested in doing something like this and it'd be good practice for everyone.

I'm still here slowly grinding away with my 2 accounts. Hopefully be 30 on one by end of the week. BTW why do all the alliance hang out in booty bay? Do they like to sodomize eachother or something?

There are currently rumors of a dupe going around. I would like to take this time to remind everyone that the duping of ingame goods is extremely easy to trace. It is not an issue of you might get banned for duping, YOU WILL GET BANNED FOR DUPING and probably for knowingly money laundering duped money. I have seen this in many MMORPGS and although it usually takes time for the game company to fix the dupe when they do fix it they usually ban first and ask questions later. Lineage 2 for example banned everyone who duped, proffitted extensively off of a duper and laundered money for a duper then only weeks later did they start listening to excuses from people who simply made money by selling to dupers.

Right now, 9:14 pm central, Illidan is down. Hopefully blizzard is using the truckloads of money they've gotten from WoW sales to upgrade the server.

I love my tauren druid, sometimes it makes me wonder why my main is a warrior.

I bet 10-25% of the playerbase leaves after the free month. Just my observation from other mmorpgs that this seems to happen.
