WoW sucked away 2 years of my life. True story

I'm trying to get down enough so I can pass the PT weight test which, since I'm a noob in rotc, I don't know what weight that is yet. As far as PT goes this week we had different activities each day. Typically we do four different activities each day and most of these were combined into team relays such as team sprint relays and team lunge relays. This week I've done team stretcher hauls and lifts, bear crawls, crab walks, wheelbarrels, lunges, sprints, dual 5 gallon jug sprints (about 40lbs each), pushups, situps and tarp dragging. The MS4's (fourth year enlisted cadets) are in charge of PT right now and they like to mix it up alot between cardeo and strength building exercises.

I started Army ROTC this week, which includes Physical Training. I was 201lbs without clothes on before PT started. We had PT three times this week for an hour and a half. I did cardeo exercises on the off-days when we didn't have PT for roughly an hour and a half. Since PT started, I have only eaten one decent meal per day. Now, I am approx 184lbs and my body feels like its been put through the washer's mangle. Hooah!

Any of you fellas remember when chip would crank the practice server up to 2x+ speed and we'd run around on a DM map fragging eachother for hours? Good times...

The best part was when one round was nearly over, dooly is right above him and as soon as dooly starts firing he whips around and does a mid-air jumping headshot.

Fatty or another admin can correct me if needed but, in my experience you should try and ignore them if possible. However, as Fatty said, "There's situations for any rule that allow for extreme actions." In this case with him swearing at everyone, spamming the mic, and trying to ruin our gaming experience through shooting us to low health (with no admins being online)...I would say tking was warranted (which is why I shot him a couple times myself). There are times when no admins are on when you might need to resort to drastic measures...just keep in mind that if you do have to resort to tking that after 3-5 tks you get autobanned. What IceBerg said also has merit, "What happens if an admin comes in just as you TK this person and doesn't know anything else, you could be blamed for the retaliation." Main thing is don't get yourself autobanned trying to do the admins job when the admin isn't there...it hurts you and most of the trouble makers will get themselves autobanned after your gone anyways.

Immutable doesn't seem to be as much of a problem because PTBX likes to switch the top scorers around a lot to try and even teams in relation to score. Even though it is not always successful at least it gives us a small stopgap to try and prevent this type of behavior. Correct me if I am wrong but, it seems as though both east servers are not setup the same way as Immutable and the only reason someone gets switched on Recrudescence or Project Mayhem is if the teams are unbalanced in number of people per team. Would it be possible to setup the east servers the same way that Immutable is setup so that the top scorer gets switched teams more frequently?

First, let me be frank. I do not believe wanting to be on the same team as a friend is necessarily a bad idea. However, when you and your friend being on the same team stacks teams, to a point at which one side clearly has a large advantage over the other, things need to change. Stacking teams too often not only reduces the amount of fun one side is having, but it can also result in the depopulation of the server as people leave to go to servers where teams aren't one-sided. In addition to reducing the amount of fun and depopulating the server team stacking also lessens the level of competitiveness because when teams are stacked its near-impossible for the non-stacked team to win (be competitive). As such, am I the only one getting tired of Franny & Vovik logging into our servers and stacking teams so that they can get huge scores? I see them join the server under alias just so that they can be on the same team without people immediately complaining about them team stacking. When a person does complain they typically ignore it and keep on raking up the points for their "uber" scores. Granted, Vovik will make an attempt to try and even the teams if a GC, or enough other regulars, complain often enough (or an admin asks); however, I cannot recall the last time Franny switched to even out teams. Its gotten to the point where if my brother and I are playing on a server Franny & Vovik are on we invariable end up quitting early. This happens either because were helping stack teams by being on the same team as them (i.e. we get no challenge) or were losing horrible because all the "skilled" people are stacking teams (because few others want to try for a challenge). Added to this, I've noticed the server atmosphere going to the jakes whenever they pull this trick as others of our regulars get fed up with them, ask them to even teams, then leave after they are ignored for a few rounds. Before I close up, I realize that at one time or another all of us have been a part of team stacking whether intentional or unintentional...it happens. However, it is truly sad when my brother tells me to join a team for the sole reason that two people with unusually high scores are on that team and refusing switch to the other team. Finally, I remember back when I rejoined there was a server-side script (PTBX?) that was moving people with highest score around if the winning team was a certain number of wins (say 3) above the other team. Whatever happened with that? The only other solution I can think of involves admin intervention to prevent team stacking (from Franny, Vovik and others).

I was there, this guy was doing exactly what renegade said. Renegade, you prolly need to post your steamid before an admin can do anything...iono.

Try posting a link to this in the ban thread for the server you were on. In my experience, admins check that more.

Reserve seems to have gotten me in to Immut but I'm getting the message in the title when I try to join a team. Edit: server was full at the time when I tried.

Is this poll going to be addressed or not? Personally, the new pricing system is detracting from the amount of fun I'm having ingame by forcing me to use weapons I dislike. Its all well and good to mess around with a mac-10 or p90 once in awhile; however, not being able to buy my favorite guns due to costs makes me do one of two things: 1) Find a server with the DWP feature disabled. 2) Stack on the winning team so I can buy the guns I want.

I've noticed the same. ..as for Rusty Trombone lets just say its not a suitable name on gc servers and leave it at that.

How is it? I'm going to pick up my copy tomorrow and it looks pretty cool. I'm enjoying it alot. It reminds me more of warhammer 40k the tabletop wargame more than the other Dawn of War games have.

Yep, I think its been roughly two years. Hiya M2, glad to see your still around. I've been considering dusting off my steam.exe and hopping on one of the GC CS:S servers. Only problem is I don't have alot of time between school and work anymore.
