It's to the point where I get angry every time i play warfare. break time. 20fps in loaded servers, frequent lockups (we're talking reset button), poorly designed vehicles, crappy noob-friendly bottlenecking spam maps... I've tried my best to have an optimistic attitude toward this game, even posting about the good qualities it has... truth is though, overall the game (namely warfare) seems rushed, buggy, imbalanced... just cheap! I still felt annoyed even when i won matches tonight... ?? I've had to spend hours tweaking every possible setting in the INI files just so my computer that is less than a year old can play it with the lowest settings possible (uglier than 2k4) at 2 Unless there is some miracle patch that makes this game likeable, or some seriously aweseome maps come out, I'm probably going to keep this game in garage in my yardsale box. Sorry to be a grouch about it, but this game wasn't ready for retail sale and it almost seems like a crime to release something so bad and call it "unreal". Then again, the only unreal i ever played was 2k4 and didn't care a lot for the others.. maybe i never belonged

I've had one disconnect (server-side) and about 10 lockups, but I went the new Nvidia drivers with a modded INF for my laptop and that fixed the lockups entirely. Sounds like yours is connection tho!

Perhaps b/c i patched the game before I removed the disk? I'm going to submit this story to dateline and see if they are interested in investigating it further so i can clear my name and once again be respected as a loyal software consumer.

I agree that there are still issues.. but i think it's just a matter of getting used to it. We're starting up a team and I'm sure the majority of the early practices are going to be sharing information with each other, much like we did with 2k4. Keep in mind... All of us have learned from each other in the past which got us to the level we were at in 2k4. We haven't had a single meeting in UT3 yet . Furthermore, ANY new game, regardless of being a continuation of a "series" is going to feel entirely different. New engine, new textures, new models, new weapons, new everything! I mean just because you hold a weapon called a flak cannon doesn't mean you know how to use it.. because regardless of the "name" of the weapon, you've never used it before ut3 came out ....... As for the console thing.. I disagree there. PC play is fast paced and keyboard / mouse support for the ps3 is to offset the crappiness of a console controller in a PC game otherwise why support it? Come practice with us, help your bros and learn from them as well.. and remember fun first competition second Learn to have fun losing before you learn to win, and you can't lose.
