Ok, the last new car I bought was a 2000 Ford Taurus. The wife got that and I finally got it from her when it hit 100,000 miles. At 150,000 the valve cover gaskets are leaking and the plugs are fouling out. I'll get that fixed but for now I thought it was time for a new car for myself. Here's what I bought:

I came across these at Tigerdirect one day, they are the most amazing speakers I have ever heard for the size of them.

You can get them from Tigerdirect for about $110, you can get them just about anywhere for $130 just google em to find the best price.

They are USB and have a full range of sound. The controls at the bottom are touch. Piano black finish on them and no taller than a can of monster

and not much wider.

The last IP address if Sayunkle's extreme UT3 server. Everything is berzerk mode and you will get the Unkimbo mod that gives you double weapons. It actually makes for some interesting game play.

I think you'll be suprised at the ONS 2.0 stuff. I liked what they did to it, they brought UT2k4 to a whole new level.

Find the servers that are using ONS 2.0 on them. Should say in the server info line. I have a few that i'll post up if your interested. Not on my machine tonight so I'll post them up tomorrow.

Just got all the dowloads so I might check some of this stuff out, not that I need to install another game.

I am kind of curious as to how it will play on Windows 7. I'm gonna have to throw in a bigger drive now, I think I'll go out and get another 500gig raptor sata 3 at tiger for 70 bucks.

OK, I thought that since UT3 is being brought back up in topics that I would send this your way. You may remember that I was a {Punk} at one time, be it brief. I get alot of info from the UNK players when it comes to UT. These guys have UT bagged up in my opinion. I thought that we might consider giving this a try.

UT3 Ons Party When you read the posts, notice the names under the avatars. You'll recognize quite a few of them, T5K-USSR-S-and so on. We know these guys, judging by what I have read so far, UT is making its way back to some great game play, as it use to be.

These guys have figured out how to make UT3 Warfare play like UT2k4 Onslaught. They also have tons of new and interesting maps along with many 2k4 maps done in UT3 style.

For those of you that have 3 installed you can get some new maps here if your interested.

This is the ONS 2.0 that gives UT3 the 2k4 feel, there are also some maps to download when you get to this page. ONS 2.0

You might want to read ONS 2.0 Project page, it has a lot of stuff to look at when it comes to UT3. There are people working on the vehicles and everything.

I'll post up a link to get the UNK maps if your interested. I might have to reinstall with this stuff More to come.

Honestly, go with the 518. The very few extras that the G5 has is really irrelevant. My brother has the 1100 cordless, I like the size of that one and its kind of heavy but I don't want to part with 80 bucks. If they had the 1100 in a corded version at about 40 or 50 then I might consider it.

So did it fix the weapons and vehicles so they play more like ut2k4 or all the weapons still slugish. I wasn't impressed with the guns, the shots were off with the flakcannon and you just couldn't line up the shock balls like you could in 2k4. I most definatley did not like what they did with the hellbender but thats just me. I don't know, is the patch and the pack worth another try with it?

players who think that shooting your own nodes with the primary link fire will make it build more quickly.

I like messin with the noobs that just got the game. They start accusing me of hacking, I mean me, rofl.

I'm going to reinstall it on Windows 7 and see what happens. Installed cod4 on W7 and runs great. Actually runs better than in XP in my opinion. FPS is identical so I'll be playing it on that from now on.

Installed COD4 yesterday. FPS is identical to XP, I get a range of 70 to 90 fps on both OS's, going to reinstall UT and see what happens. Now take into consideration UT is an 04 game and is not utilizing dx10 so the fps may not be very good. I think cod4 actually runs better in 7, I may have to reinstall some others just to compare.

I don't really want to use 3rd party software. I like the media player, its fine for what I use it for. Perhaps I need some codecs for 7 or something, I'll look into it. Thanks guys.

Is anyone having a problem with the media player. I can watch burned movies but rented ones won't play at all. They start and then lock up and thats all she wrote. Not sure if maybe the region needs to be reset or what. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

This does not even come close to UT. Can't get into it, sorry.

I've watched 7 minutes of house of cards and I don't think I can watch the rest of it. I read an article that was titled Learn to Love Your Job, right now, thats the bottom line. I hope everyone is taking care, may GOD be with us all.

I've gone back to playing UT 2k4 and COD4 I'll pop in and play L4D once in a while, but thats about it.

COD5 is ok, but I like the modern weapons in 4 better. Haven't played CSS in months. TF2, tried it for a while but couldn't really get into it. I'm not a WOW player, MMO's lose my interest after about an hour or 2.

I did like the new Crysis, I like the suit stuff you can use. I think they need to come up with more game types with that. How about more game types with a new updated Counterstrike, that would be fun. Ok, thats my 2 cents.

Nice job, I've been telling all kinds of people i know in UT about the map coming and they all are saying sounds good and can't wait.

does anyone still use the vent server at all. When I jump in there is no one i recognize.

I just converted that tube to a SM which is a additive and subtractive brush, I was correct as it sealed up the tube.

Notice now that the ends are sealed

I tried to covert both additive and subtractive brushes to a single brush and it would not allow it.

I think the way most of these complex SM are built in the game (Default SM) are built with another type of editor, like 3D max or something that is more robust.

Why do you need to convert them to one brush any ways??? Are you trying to replicate the object?

Here is the map I am creating now. Notice the hallways go into a big room, the big room was a shape made with the 2D editor, Initally I tried the adding a box, then intersecing the brush into the box, this is similar to what you are doing (combining brushes). I will now have to build the big grey box as a hollow box, them put a lid on it, this way I can intersec the last section of the hallway into the big room making it all connect but using a subtractive brush to connect them.

Since my hallway is multiple panels that make up the hallway, it leaves gaps and you can see through the ends.. still trying to figure this out.

The last section of this hallway is a brush, if the grey box was a hollow box it would have intersected perfect, but givin the complexity of the shape, I have gaps....

I just confirmed you cannot convert to SM and preserve the 3D. It has to be 2 brushes that intersect (Additive/Subbtractive)

To replicate this as a complete SM you would need to build each piece by Brush, then convert to SM, then possibly select all SM and convert again to SM.
