  1. Define success.....my original post also states that many people do not choose to chase wealth, they just want to work, get what they need to suit their needs and their lifestyles...I am one of those people, and again, I don't feel that I am entitled to any rich man's money, but I do feel that the career moochers are more of a drag on me and others in the middle class. All hard workers would benefit from getting the lazy off their arses and getting them into the working world so that they can contribute. As for the poor that really need help, I've never been against it, but help shouldn't be a permanent way of life. Help the needy through their tough time, and get them the tools they need to get them back on their feet and back into life.

Instead of indefinite handouts, spend that money on making the people better. Sure, many people come from poor, and or lazy people and it's not their fault, so it's important to break that cycle and get these people educated and help them get involved in a productive society, but our government is reactionary....throwing money at the people that ask for it in exchange for votes, which is complete bs and needs to stop. I'm sick of working and having my taxes increase to cover these expenses.

As for taxes? Why not make it common sense, flat tax, no deductions, no loop holes...everyone pays the same percentage, which will be more for a rich man, but just as proportionate to his income as the rest of us. And there is absolutely no way in hell that a person that didn't pay in should EVER get a tax refund out, that is enraging to me.

Seems simple, but our government isn't exactly full of common sense thinkers.

  2. On the flip flip side, to say everyone who doesn't make a lot of money and needs government assistance aren't hard working is a very very ignorant statement. Unless you've lived in inner cities, you have no real clue. Maybe the name Clueless is apt.

You know nothing about me and should reserve such comments as to not show your own ignorance. I've never made any personal attacks, so I don't need to hear it from you.

I live in New Orleans brainiac....no one here is more than a few blocks from an inner city area, and I see people of all types...hard working and moocher alike, and trust me, there is no shortage of either. And the people that do the mooching, are very career minded towards the act, and aren't bashful about it, some wear it as a badge of honor that they can collect a check and not lift a finger. But fortunately, I know many good, hard working people here, and if the energy and money were to be spent correctly, more people would rise higher, but as long as a system allows people to be lazy at the expense of those who aren't....there will be no progress for either the lower or middle class.

  3. It's America, the whole point is that you are supposed to be able to apply yourself, work hard, and accomplish great things...even wealth. And many wealthy people started from humble beginnings to achieve what they have, only to have other "Americans" think of them as greedy capitalist pigs, and expect them to spread their money to others who haven't chosen to apply themselves in the same manner.

Land of the free....unless you're better at it than others, then screw you buddy!

Many Americans simply do not chose to go all out in an effort to achieve great wealth, they are perfectly happy making a decent living and having what they need to enjoy life in the way that they choose to.....to each his own, I happen to fit into this group....I don't want to have a 24/7 career, chasing only the almighty dollar, I want to have a life, and I do just fine, no need for handouts. But I also feel no ill feelings towards those that choose to pursue wealth, that's the beauty of America...choose your path.

Are there things that need serious fixing? Yes...healthcare being a big one....but that's just it...it needs FIXED, not given away to everyone. Fix the screwed up systems so that everyone can have a fair shot. Help the people in need, but only to help them fly from the nest, not become a career moocher. We aren't perfect, but for pete's sake...people need to start investing their energy into real solutions that fix problems instead of whining and expecting something for nothing.

I'm not rich, VERY middle class, and i'm telling you, I don't want, or feel that I am in any way entitled to a rich man's money simply because he has it and I don't. You wanna talk about a stagnant society....imagine what we would become, or better yet, what we would never become when people decide that it isn't worth it to succeed. Screw that....it's all out there, if you want it, go get after it, if you don't.....well, don't waste anyone's time complaining that others have it and you don't.

So tired of hearing the entitlement crap....everyone is entitled to what they do for themselves, there's nothing that says you have the right to white picket fences, but you DO have the right to get your arse out there and earn it.

  4. Really cool place....I know exactly where that is, for some reason I wasn't putting it together until he mentioned Graham and Fishcreek, I used to live 1/4 mile from there. I think that place used to be open as a pool hall years ago.

As for camping in the parking lot, we might want to check into that before people get too carried away, knowing where that is, I can't imagine that the Stow police would stay away long after seeing tents in the parking lot right there in the city.

  5. Just pick your motherboard and processor at Micro Center and buy them together, they have awesome combo discounts. But unless they have an awesome sale on other stuff, stick with Newegg for the rest.

Right now, I still think the i5 3570K with a Z77 chipset mobo is the best bang for the buck, unless you want to wait for the next gen stuff and go all out.

I have a GTX670 video card that runs everything I can throw at it on ultra settings, including Battlefield 3 and Skyrim (with the texture pack)

Just go online and do some reading....toms hardware, hardocp, and a few others and they will have all the testing comparisons that you could want.

  6. I haven't had any luck with OCZ power supplies, so that's the first thing I would change. Stick with a better brand....a bit more money is well worth it here. Wouldn't make any sense to use anything smaller than 750w, especially since the money difference is so small. Go with the most you can afford, allow yourself room to upgrade.
