  2. this guy also really needs a ban # 3360 " -=Qw=-Fox Racing" STEAM_0:0:5794341 17:32 125 0 active tking at spawn numerous times.. i think he might have sprayed a porn spray too.. Even after he got kicked for tking from the autokick, he came back to do it. # 3299 "=XIII=Burshteyn" STEAM_0:1:5139334 1:08:44 167 0 active and that one.. trying to get "revenge" for fox killing him. he might also have a porn spray too. I think he tried to tk fox again. This is really a fun day.
  3. Oh... I don't have that version yet. I hear that in CS4 you get to launch ICBMs as a terrorists and the CTs have to stop them by using laser guided missles to have a midair collision! There aren't anymore bombs, because the terrorists failed to rush too many times.

  7. After a long time of beta testing this with him last night and today, I am glad to say that it is finished. It has a completely different feel to it than the original assault, but still follows the same path. It's set in the late afternoon, Ts spawn in warehouse as usual, CTs spawn outside as usual. However, the hostage rescue zone has changed. It is now in a certain section behind the CT spawn area. You will be able to see it from the first picture. There are also a few additions to the bridge area, and to the right door area. Also, on top of the warehouse, you will be able to see what happened to a poor maintenance worker.   8. The third party map has arrived! However, it is not the final version. This is beta 8. de_nuke It was made by a guy that goes by the name Weeper. I tried to get into contact with him a little while ago, with no luck. There are pictures on that site are from beta7. All previous betas for this map were private. Let's see how this goes. I'll even throw in some of my own screenshots (thumbnails.. you know the drill):

  10. LIES! It's just a picture over some lines made by some guy in a thing called hammer! It's like paper! They weigh nothing!!!! It's model airplane cement that holds them together... It has to be.

    About the bombsites, just look at the pictures i posted above. Look for the barrels. You will see them. Those are where the bombsites are.
  12. I huffed and I puffed and I couldn't knock them down... but I lost my ability to think correctly . I wish they could be knocked down as well.

  15. Sorry Havoc, most of us being away and all. I'd like to be able to run through the map before the finished version is, to see if I can find anything wrong with it. I'll be around checking the forums for a bit yet, if you want to post up a link to it, or open up another listen server, I'll be happy to give it a shot.
  16. I like what I see so far. But, I have to agree with fatty about the use of different textures. I think it would be able to turn into a really fun map. However, I am not a map maker, and I've tried my best at hammer. I can understand the hardships that go with mapmaking. I wasn't even able to make a box .

    As you all might have guessed from the name, it is indeed in the jungle. There are 2 bombsites, and two fully functional waterfalls. There are also ropes to climb up, and all that other good stuff that includes running accross logs, barely escaping your demise.. all that good stuff. The A bombsite is easily accessible to the Ts in 20 seconds if they run to it straight from spawn. Go up the ramp, turn to the right and go down instead of up. It's about in the middle, vertically, of the map. For the CTs, they have to take an alternate path, which takes them about 30 seconds to get to it. This would be something that the Ts could use as a rush. The B bombsite is on the top of the map, also accessible to the Ts in 20 seconds if they rush from spawn. Go up the ramp, turn to the right and go up instead of down. However, the CTs can get to this in 20 second if they rush. Cts will have to rush from spawn and look closely to the left side of the wall for a long, long, long rope to go up. From there you can defuse the bomb. Now there are a lot of fun things to do in this map. Something I got great entertainment out of was falling down the waterfall. You can then get out of it by going up a rope. You can also choose to go through an underwater cave. There is also a hidden cave... I'll let you all find that one. And one last thing, after you climb to the top of the rope going to the B bombsite, you can jump to a ledge slightly below you, then drop down to another one. From there you can walk down a fallen tree, and follow another path... You literally walk on top of trees for another aspect of the map. Falling down the first waterfall will not cause you to lose any damage. However, falling down the second waterfall will cost you your life. This map is extremely cool.   18. After I already gave my own feedback when I found the map, I only have one thing to add. Rescuing hostages in the sewers is by far the most amazing thing I've seen in this map. My vote is to keep it forever.
  19. There have been plenty of times when I was the last person on the map, and all I hear are footsteps. I crouch down, turn up my headphone volume. What sounds like something is right behind me, is really on the other side of the wall. The whole thing freaks me out. So I move around slowly, checking my back. Usually I die (stop laughing at me shodan), but sometimes I can place the sound in the right location and shoot, and watch them die.

There seems to be a basement to the garage.. as well as some additions to some of the outside buildings. I'm a bit confused as to how it would work out. I'm always up for testing a modified assault. I just played through it and I have to say that I am impressed. I never thought that an underground sewer would really have an effect in assault. On top of that, this is an extremely balanced map. The CTs could win in a matter of 20 seconds, and so could the terrorists. The only complaint I have is that some of the ladders are a tad bit short, and you need to jump up to get to them.

Since Fatty was so kind to put this new forum up, I would like to start it off by showing you all another map. de_chessyard http://www.rpi.edu/~wiegnb/chessyard/ From my experience of running through it, It is small, but it seems like it would be fun. Plant the bomb in the middle of the chessboard, easy enough. CTs and Ts spawn opposite of each other on the map, obstructed by a few walls and chess peices. With a 24 player server, I think it would be fun to have them all run through this. I'm trying to get in contact with the maker at the moment. update: Screenshots Now you can see it in all it's glory.

  24. mat_dxlevel 70 crashes the game on de_inferno_soop. It's by the T spawn when it happens. Run up the halfway and poof, your game freezes and you have to shut it off.
