General J June 25, 2004 Share General J Member June 25, 2004 Don't be this unfortunate soul. Kid was 16 riding his brand new Honda CBR600F4I, honda's supposedly more "beginner friendly" bike. From my understanding, more like Suzuki's Katana series if you know motorcycles. Maybe this will be shown to people considering buying a new bike in the near future. I am not saying starting on a 600cc bike will kill you, but if you are not responsible and don't respect that much power on 2 wheels, it will. And in a hurry as well. Now, I know a few others have mentioned that they are very interested in buying a bike. I will not comment on anyones choices as to which bike is right for them. I personally have never really ridden and will be buying a Ninja 250, a beginners bike. I didn't know if this should be posted in the main section, or in here. I am purchasing a motorcycle in the next few days (if everything goes as planned) and am scheduled for my MSF course next week.
All Kill3r June 26, 2004 Share All Kill3r Member June 26, 2004 I think age 16 is a little young to have a motorcycle, theres not alot of maturity at that age. Hope everything goes well with your purchase J, show me some pics when you get it !
