Fatty October 2, 2004 Share Fatty GC Founder October 2, 2004 Time out. What about Red-Alert? Didn't that come out in the very late 90's? C&C was one of the last Warcraft-type like games I played before I went Q2, HL2, CS....

General J October 4, 2004 Share General J Member October 4, 2004 All of the C&C games. I remember Red Alert - I could only play in dos, but my friend had something like a 266 mhz machine and could play through windows! He had the full radar map while I had to scroll around on it. Still usually ended in a stand-off of like 60 tanks. Master of Orion was also a very good strategy game. But what about Dune 2? Now that was a strategy game. I remember your harvester would wonder off on its own and get eaten by a worm. Made me so mad everytime. Many hours were spent playing modem games of Duke Nukem 3d. Never could get Doom II to work on a modem game. Anyone remember Eradicator? That was a pretty cool one. Simcity games, dino park tycoon, wolfenstein (better yet, spear of destiny c:\spear or wolf3d woohoo) Lode Runner, Under a Killing Moon. Sad thing is, I still have most of these somewhere...
