Sir Shertown Pimp March 18, 2005 Share Sir Shertown Pimp Member March 18, 2005 Well Ive had my new computer running perfectly this last week or so, the wireless network works really well too. I have a G wireless router with an a/g usb adapter and about 50 feet from the main pc and modem. I actually download FASTer on the ~24-54 mbps connection in my room as opposed to the 100mbps on the main system. I ping well on good Texas CS:S servers; however, I get this constant spike which reminds me of AK from b ack in the day lol. If this is way its supposed to be I can understand, but itd be nice to fix it.
TeK March 18, 2005 Share TeK Member March 18, 2005 If your spiking in CS thats normal for wireless. It's lost packets being traveled between the wireless router and computer. One of the reasons why Ak got a wired connection
Ted_Break_Danson March 18, 2005 Share Ted_Break_Danson Member March 18, 2005 I just switched back to a lan cable from wireless because of this too. Man those spikes are annoying.
