Batman June 14, 2005 Share Batman Member June 14, 2005 As a kid Evel was my hero, and I had all his toys and gadgets for my bike.. I saw him jump here in Cincinnati at Kings Island when I was like 8 yrs old, and it was the coolest thing id ever seen.. His speeches he gave befor and after his jumps have stuck with me all these yrs and I think my love for America and positive attitude twards life has alot to do with Evel.. MaXimus June 15, 2005 Share MaXimus Member June 15, 2005 I did and i feel much the same way, i also watched the recent movie made about him starring that dude from CSI, but IMHO it did very little to convey the kind of man he really was. He was the all American guts and glory kinda guy, gave no quarter and asked none. He's no where near perfect but a hero in my eyes all the same.
