GeforceFX vs Radeon 9700 early benches

early numbers from Maximum PC. Some useful information as well. The question is.. will Radeon's R350 core (the 9700pro is the R300) be faster (like it will not be, duh)

lol... Did you read the part where they said that Nvidia wouldnt let them test it at 4x anti-aliasing? Nvidia isnt very sure of their newest flagship chip.

Yeah, Anti-aliasing uses memory bandwidth more than anything. The FX only has a 128-bit memory bus where the Radeon 9700 pro and none pro are 256-bit. This is where the FX is going to fail unless drivers really really really optimize it.
