tm* August 7, 2005 Share tm* Member August 7, 2005 Argh.. again there is another time to upgrade the technology (im not complaining!! ) Socket M2 & Socket F will replace all current array... meaning that Socket 754 & 939 are going to be replaced with M2 & F!! Bad thing is that M2 & F are supposed to be designed for Dual-Cores.... even the Socket 940 (opteron) is bieng replaced with a newer design.. meanining that all current opteron's wont work with the new boards.... M2 will support DDR2 memory but its not DDR500 + its actually gonna support 655 as standered WOoT! o well Tm* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
