What's worse is 8 yellow cards between the two teams. Ref's are really cracking down on fouling this year. I saw that game. Some of the cards were stupid. One was for holding up a free kick at the end of the game. Another to a Swiss striker on the same play for trying to use his left hand to knock the ball past the French 'keeper. This was a really boring game. France had a couple of chances, but screwed up royally. Unfortunately, the most exciting part of the game was the cards, all of which are deserved.
