Onlive gaming console

Interesting setup, wondering what kind of alien super computer they have to process a gazillion games and then stream them live to everyone.

I was wondering the same thing. The max resolution they can pump to you will be 1280x720 (720p) @ 30fps, not really that great for anyone with a capable PC or a 360/PS3 so the PC running the game is/are going to be close to top of the line right now (not so much when it launches at the end of the year).

Personally I don't really see how they're going to make this work with bandwidth restrictions from ISPs being the way they are, I don't see any point if instead of levels loading they had to buffer (that sounds a little exaggerated though) or if there was stuttering of any kind (not necessarily including john).

So, would this work in similar fashion to Quake Live, where you wouldn't need the hardware since everything is run on the back end?

Anyone remember Sega Channel? They would stream sega games to the console through your cable service. You could access a fairly large library of games through it.

But the difference between Sega Genesis games and modern day games is a bit extreme.
