GC's Left 4 Dead server

I just wanted to give the community members who play a heads up. GC has a stock configured Left 4 Dead server for community use. You connect by using the sv_search_key string in the console before starting a game as the leader of a lobby. Create a lobby for either a Versus, Campaign, or Survivor mode game, hit the ` key to open your console, and type this in and then press enter:

sv_search_key gcl4d

 

After you hit enter, you close the console and start the game and you will connect to GC's L4D server. Post up in this forum section if you run into any problems.

 

Keep in mind that if the server is full, you will not be able to connect to it. Several community members also have their own servers with their own special keys. If they give us the heads up, I will post their search keys here as well.
