Jibbajabba August 4, 2009 Share Jibbajabba Member August 4, 2009 I recently joined a Steam group that is called L4D2 Boycott. I was suprised how many people were signed up on it. Basically fans of L4D who are unhappy that the game they are planning on coming out with is a new game for the full $50 in one years time and that it doesn't appear to be that fundamentally different. Don't buy the game as well....I may buy it when the price comes down (unless new info comes out that justifies me paying $50 again).

bushwack August 4, 2009 Share bushwack Member August 4, 2009 Sounds like a better deal then the WoW players paying $180 a year. TF2 is a great game that originally came out at 20 bucks, I think they should have priced L4D the same. They would have sound umpteen more copies and then sold more for L4D2. I still don't understand the boycott thing, I always have to wait till games come down before I buy. BTW I been playing King's Bounty (2008), good turn based strat that be had for only $7 from Dollar General.
Jibbajabba August 6, 2009 Author Share Jibbajabba Member August 6, 2009 Thanks, lousiest. With regards to WoW and any other MMO, I refuse to pay a monthly subscription cost for any game. I will take a look at King's Bounty Bushwack.
