Now I wonder if they will make the HE grenades actually deadly... :shrug03:

You might be in luck:

 

-Fixed an issue with involving incorrect armor protection vs. grenade damage. Added sv_legacy_grenade_damage (defaulted to 0) to allow servers to revert to the original behavior.

 

Or maybe it went the other way and armor protects more, I don't know. :D

 

Edit:

 

-Addressed a problem with the sniper rifles that prevented unzooming during auto-reload after shooting all the bullets in a clip.

 

Yay!

 

-Fixed a buffer overrun exploit that could be used to attack/crash servers.

 

Yay!

 

Edit 2: They also made the smoke look better. Less like a 1/2 sphere, more realistic.

Time for an update!

 

For those that haven't noticed, the new beta smoke grenades are in the final game. They also brought back the option to require you to purchase ammo. By default you don't have too, but there is a server command to force it. Walking has been sped up to be at 1.6 speed as well.

Another round of fun updates in the beta, including:

 

- Fixed animation problem caused by aborting bomb plant by switching weapons (“crab walkâ€).

 

- Fixed issue with players “stacking†on ladders. Players are no longer prevented from moving off a ladder when they are in contact with a player beneath them.

 

- Fixed a bug which caused incorrect zoom for a spectator watching a player with a sniper rifle.

 

- The round clock on the spectator UI is now replaced with a bomb icon after the C4 has been planted.

 

- Reduced blindness amount when looking away from a flashbang.

 

- Made smoke grenades block flashbangs.

 

There's some other stuff too, including custom crosshair size/thickness/color stuff, some FOV stuff, some bot stuff, UI stuff and some general bug fixes.
