New Rig for friend

A friend of mine is tired of dual booting his iMac into Win XP for gaming and wants to drop some dough on a gaming rig. He has no idea about anything, and wants my help to build it. I basically picked all of these parts out and am going to build it with him. Just tell me thoughts. I know there is much better stuff out there, but he didn't want to spend an insane amount for all new stuff, he just wants a gaming rig to last him about 4 years.

Sorry for no descriptions, I'm lazy and copy/pasted the links from our facebook chat. Maybe I'll edit it tonight With each part next to the link. Got it all for right about $1000. He has a keyboard/mouse.

I also told him in 4 years, he can prolly just get 16GB of RAM and a new video card and he should be good to go for newer games. That i5 2500K should last at least that long.

Very close to my rig, except I have 2 460s.

 

I have the same 500gb HDD, but it's just for backup. I'm thinking now you could get a 1TB for the same price?

Yeah but his imac has a 320gb and he said he hasn't come close to filling it in like 5 years. 500 should be plenty I think for him.
