okay so im Building a gaming computer and im Looking to upgrade this old one i got from a friend

 

this is my motherboard i got from tigerdirect:

its a

and i have this old old old cute machine: its a lenovo ideacentre K230

 

specs are : Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E7400 @ 2.80GHz, 6 GB of RAM, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 ( no graphic card atm but getting one)

my question is that I am buying a PSU ( power supply) and i was wondering if these will fit and whats the diffrence?

I am trying to help you, but you wont answer your call

 

Modular Power supply gives you the option to plug in the wires you only need for a HD, video card etc.

A regular version of it will have all the wires permanently attached, and if you don't need all of them, make the inside of the PC cluttered.

 

I personally run a massive modular corsair Power Supply @ 1200 watts
