Randomly I am given the first script tank, and it spawns behind the radio room and the bottom of the ladder. Upon spawning I check my points and see that frankly getting a heal will be more than than difficult. Intially the plan is proceed to an area where I can rock tank, but then see 4 or guys on the roof of the radio room. So i begin rushing to the top to catch them while they are unaware. As I crest the stair some guys see me and jump off the front of the building over the mini gun, another guy had already started running away on the pipe to the left, so this leaves one guy. It was Lookback and his character was slouched over like he needed a heal. I then decide to get a quick kill on him since everyone else had rightfully ran from me in which case abandoned him. I go for a launch punch and land it. It wasn't perfect, but worked good enough to kill him throwing him to down to the bottom ledge where I spawned. In the middle of this punch someone lights me so I just commit the tank. The moment i come off the roof I see Fin rooster his arm back with a bile so I target him and beat him around the map until I'm dead. He never gets incapped because he buys a heal, but he did get to toss the bile and miss at point blank so I consider it a small victory. At this point i type in chat, "look back didn't look back" "so he's dead", and immediately he responds. I noticed I pinched a nerve, and felt like he was going to do something so I began taking screen shots. By the time I finished screens I was banned. I wasn't aware that you couldn't joke about the death of someone after all is there anything more rewarding in the game as infected than getting/ seeing a kill. Personally, I found it to be funny when people fall to their deaths. It's the best kind of death because of the screams. The only players that I target with insults are friends and most of the time we're in mumble together, but in general I treat everyone the same unless they asked to be left alone. Members, regulars, and randoms I try to be friendly and as welcoming as possible, but anyone that knows me will tell you there is always a little chippy humor to come with ! I just asked for this to be reviewed and a just decision made. Banned for a week for a little humor, by someone that was emotionally involved in the matter just doesn't see fair. Out of all the players that are considered to be top on the server I know I talk to the most. More particularly I talk the most crap. It brings the competitor out in a lot of people which makes for better games.. Not just for me. Moving forward. In the future I will not talk to anyone in game who has expressed a dislike towards humor because every other sentence out of my mouth or keyboard is either a joke or a chippy insult. Life is tooo short to be so uptight and angry. I don't want to cause problems. I'm not saying your actions were right, Gandalf, and some sort of ban should have remained. I'm also not saying what Lookback did was wrong. I should have waited to do anything until I spoke with Lookback. Lookback, I apologize to you for stepping on your toes without hearing your side. Anybody who reads this, please know that when an admin is asking you for a response, just reply and be done with it. This way we can avoid bans for ignoring admins.
