wrong handed skins

if anyone could help me out it would be a big help, i have one skin that i cant get rid of (all the rest are origional) and the skin shows up lefthanded while i have it set to right handed, i know the skin can be left or right handed and i have heard from other players that they have the same problem with their skins being on opposite hands...... (radom smiley)

i havent dled a skin cuz im waitin to hook up cable to my comp in my room.....so if it messed uyp it doesnt mess up my hp

same thing happens to me with my MP5 drew no one knows how to figure it out... Dont worry you get used to it quick i dont even notice any more

actually there is a way to fix it but i cant rember what site i found it on....just hopin that someone else knew how to fix it

THIS is a VERY simple problem to fix.

 

See in Counter-Strike 1.3, they took out the need for v_model_r.mdl and V_model.mdl...

 

 

If you have a lefthanded model, when you want a RIGHT handed model..

 

Do this...

 

Here are the names of the models:

V_m4a1_r.mdl

v_m4a1.mdl

 

All you have to do, is switch the names, Make the "_r" into the other one. It'll fix your problem, like that. It's a very confusing skin thing for 1.3+ in CS, but that's how you fix it.

here:

 

x = weapon name

 

take v_x.mdl and DELETE it. then take v_x_r.mdl and copy it. paste the copy and rename it to v_x.mdl v_x_r.mdl and v_x.mdl are the same now... then just paste em in your folder.
