first off i wanted to say thanks for all yalls help. well i got a new tower, it is a sweet tower with a cooling tunnel. that fixed all of my temp problems, cpu runs at 27c at idle 33c under load. bios was way out of date, new bios so i now have dual core running. new drivers for my sli graphics cards. i ran 3dmark and got great numbers. i ran the steam benching test and got an average of 128 fps, must remember i have my fps capped at 150 so on much of the test it was on 149. runnning so fast now and so much better. thanks again guys for all the help.

i will pull the box of stuff down from the attic and post up all my comps info so yall can better understand what i have. thanks so much for the help. i know the mobo is dual core supported cause it says it on the box. i will do this when i get home tonight. thanks guys so check back for me please later tonight or tommorow. thanks

well i will get an intake fan and mount it on my hd0 so that will cool it down. i wonder why my comp is running so dang hot, i am angry now.

Metallurgic and cujo, what program are you using to determine your temps?

how do i go about updating the bios? sorry i noob

i have only one it is a 250gig serial ata i moved it lower in the case and took out all the metal seperators, it lowered the idle temp some, i will add a fan to this area too. here come some whitey case mods ftw

temps of hd what should they be, what are yours?

well i moved some fans around and changed their direction, i got the cpu down to 48c at idle, i am gonna get me another 120 and add it closer to the front. will update when complete. funny what turning a couple fans a bit can change the temp.

what should the hdo be at temp wise? sorry for all the questions but i dont want my expensive computer to fall apart.
