Now... honestly I am the type of person who puts people down on a daily basis. I HATE people. I have long since lost my faith in people(in public) to do anything for anyone else... From my exp. in retail and fast food... its just been totally horrible. I'm not going to go into any detail, but just know that people can be VERY rude about their taco or if anyone cuts in front of them in line. Well tonight... My wife and I were buying food for our house, and a older man was behind us. My wife, as trusting as she can be, talked to him. Me, I believe everyone has a reason for doing something because people are NOT always so selfless. At any rate, he was a very nice man. Well, we walked out of the store, and I saw some kids walking into the store we were coming out. The man was handicapped and he tripped and they laughed at him. I felt bad for him... well seconds later he yells "HEY KIDS" and walks over to us and hands us a 50 dollar gift card... And doesn't ask for anything. Me... I was VERY confused about the whole thing. The man wasn't hurting for nothing he was driving a brand new truck on what looked like VERY EXPENSIVE rims. In a way I'm glad he did this, because he has inspired me to do a few selfless acts of my own. If only MORE people were like him in this world, then maybe people like me wouldn't think others had a reason for the things that they did.

No, I won't go over what I can afford. My step-dad, and uncles and a few other family members already make that kind of money. I don't plan on making any life style changes other than getting a 50-90 thousand dollar house. Which would be in the 500-900 a month range which is pretty much what I pay now.(500) I'm already in debt so, I'm going to pay it all off and then start putting money in the bank. And now that I have this job after a year my wife is going to college. My wife and I had a long talk a week ago about debt. We decided that if we are going to get another car, the one we have is to be paid off. No more than 1 loan for a car, and if we can't buy it out right, we're not going to. We both have credit cards but we've decided that our current limits ($3000.00) is as high as they're going to go. That and we're going to get a debit card and start dumping money into a checking account for emergency's. Like, I need a new hard drive, or power supply lol! jk

Well, I'll give you the whole story as it is. I work for Wal-Mart unloading trucks. This is what I do for a living. I know it doesn't sound like much at all, and it really isn't. It really sucks. They expect you to do the job with as few people as possible. Then they yell at you for it not being done in 2 hours. Well, if three people do a truck, the truck is 2500 parts, and you have 3 guys to unload... its not happening. They expect us to do 180 boxes per hour per person, and there is no way 3 guys can do it. This is how its done. 1 guys throws the truck. Generally a person can put 18 boxes on the line a minute. We are expected to get 3-6 boxes off the line a minute per person. so if two guys are doing 180 boxes per minute well that doesn't add up to 2500 in 2 hours. Thats about 720. Lately, I've had a lot of problems. Medical bills, loans that needed paid off that were for a friend.... Well, I got a call this morning from Orient ohio. They told me "you got the job" just pass the drug test. Well, i go for the drug test in two hours.... im really excited that I have this new job. I start out at $15.60 an hour and the pay cap is around.... 30.00 something. Its a corrections job for the state. Well, I'd like to tell my other job to just blank blank blank... but im a really nice guy... and it kills me not to tell them what I think about them. I've really come to respect alot of people there... well anyway... I just wanted to share my GREAT news about my new job. With me and my wife working... we'll be making a total of 22 dollars an hour together... thats awsome. Thats a gross income of 3572 dollars. THATS INSANE!

Yeah, I edited my post twice by mistake. It didn't take the first time when i hit refresh. Seemed OBVIOUS to me at least... Well, at least YOU were the only one to mention it. So I don't feel so badly. And why do you make negative comments? Do you not like me? Could you please not post if you're going to be so... crude?

Well, I think I'm just going to give up on trying to upgrade... I'll just grab some water cooling, or take apart a min-fridge and use that thing in there to cool the processor..., a peltier or w/e, well after sealing my board anyway. Then I'll just ramp up the voltage and the FSB(because the mulitiplyer is locked) and see how high i can turn it till my PC explodes WEEE actually, that sounds quite fun. I'll have to try this with an older PC hmmmm... I'll post video if I do it.

Doggy spray This might help! Although, its my understanding that some dogs are not affected by pepper spray. So you have to be very careful not to be too confident about the use of it.

YAY, I can't get this PC after all. The dept recovery that took over the unpaid 5,000+ dollars decided to make me a deal, if i can come up with 4000 dollars by Monday they'll settle for that. If not they're going to garnish my wages and tack on late fees etc up to 8000 dollars. Garnishing my wages for almost 2 and a half years. They told me they didn't want to wait till I got my income tax to pay it off, and they CERTAINLY didn't like my deal for paying 200 a month for a year till i got my taxes again. PFFFTTTT, I guess a computer and internet is the least of my worries... now i have to try to figure out how to take care of my family with a 250 dollars a month garnishment. Life is grand. Well, I guess i'm going to go make me some ramen noodles, because i'll have to get use to eatting those.

Whats sad is, i've been in the community for 5 years according to my join date, and have under 1000 posts.

Honestly? What makes a good player is someone who works with the team and says NT, or GJ at the end of each round. I look at it like this, if a person can work well with a team, that makes them a skilled player. Also, if they have a microphone that helps out a lot. If your team works well with you, then you should win every round. The only time I would think of that you'd lose if the other team had really good teamwork. So its best to work on your teamwork more than anything else. If you want to work on your aim with weapons, I'd find a really good Gun Game server to play on. Or maybe GC could make/host one for us in the near future. Lets say that the number 1 ranked person is on the other team... there are 3 of you together, and you're rushing T spawn on dust via the double doors in middle(dust2). Now, if all three of you focus on shooting the ranked 1 guy, chances are you'll get him before he awps more than one of you. Now, I have no CLUE who is ranked 1 right now because I only check the stats once or twice a month. I haven't checked it for a while now though. But yeah, communication, and teamwork are the benchmarks for a GREATLY skilled player.

I had half life when I was in high school for a while. And I was a big fan of Unreal and UT. Well, in the computer lab someone had managed to get unreal gold on one of the PCs. Well, some kids that were in the [DOH] community, Raven and Raiden, were watching me play Unreal gold on one of the PCs. "Hey, Buddy, you should get counter-strike its a really cool game!" Well, I downloaded the mod and checked it out. I was playing in the [Doh] Community for a few months, then I moved over to Mmmms community(forums, server etc). When they started the "gamers coalition" I waited a while before I joined. Honestly it was the greatest thing I ever did. Shortly after that I paid 75 dollars to get admin access(i paid 25 for my GC membership so i had to pay 25 extra to make it an even 100). I never see Raven or Raiden on anymore though . I do leave every now and then when a new PC game comes out that I like, and then I just get bored with it and always end up coming back here. I played lineage 2 for a while. A friend of mine let me play his WoW account because he wasn't playing it at all and was just wasting his money so I helped him out with that because I didn't want to pay the 50 to get it... 15 was better than 50 imo. But still... I ended up back at CS:S. And thats how I came here!

Well, I had to redo my PC because for some reason my hard drive stopped loading windows... anyhow... not a big deal... right? I run all my games off a secondary hd... 250 sata blah de blah... any who... I downloaded and installed the latest ATI/AMD drivers for my card. When I rebooted to let the drivers load, my LCD says "No signal". So I'm freaking out so I go to SAFE MODE/w network... where im typing this post from... and now I'm going to try the Omega third party drivers... UGH... I'm starting to hate AMD/ATI. or w/e. Confirmed. ATIs/AMDs new driver for my card is a screw up. When I installed the drivers it was showing my card as a 1600/1650xt. But its only the pro addition. Although I'm not sure what barring that would have at all.... All I can say now is that, ATI has convinced me not to buy another of their products for poor support of the drivers.

Yeah, I was looking into the news section of www.dragonmount.com to see if there's anything new developing in both the arrangements and thoughts on the completion of the book. I feel incredibly selfish wanting to know whether or not someone will finish the book WITHOUT changing his original intentions for the characters, but I just can't help it. I know if it were my work, I'd want someone (probably my brother) to finish it for me so that my achievement would be complete. It's just such a shame that he passed away at such a young age...58 isn't that old. :-( At least, up in Heaven, he can see how many fans he has, and how many lives he has touched. I hope it keeps him happy up there. You shouldn't feel selfish for wanting the last book. I look at it this way. If I was an author and I had a really good series I was finishing, and i had enough notes to finish it, I'd want the first thing my fans thought were "OH NO, THE LAST BOOK" To me, I'd feel pride in that. I think Robert Jordan was the type of person who would laugh and get a kick out of it. He wouldn't have fought so hard to finish it if it wasn't for the fans. Thats just my opinion though...

He died at 2:45 pm. I posted this in the wrong forum by mistake... i was so upset when I read about this I was crying and went to the wrong spot. Sorry for double post. His book series really inspired me to do better in life, and I will miss him dearly.

He died yesterday at 2:45pm. He was a good author and I loved his wheel of time series. Its sad that he didn't get to finished it, and he fought really hard so that he could finish it. Thats amazing with the condition he had. Sad to say, but I actually was borrowing all his books, but when I read about how sick he was I went out and bought every one. I feel really sorry for his family, and they are in my prayers tonight.

LOL. Ok, the system I have now is an AMD 64 3400+ 1 gig of ram, 320 gigs of total hard drive space.(2900.00 brand new). This thing is around 5 years old. So how exactly would I be waisting my money? How much did you spend on that PC you built before you upgraded it. Around 1000-2000? Also, it doesn't have PCI-e, and I mainly want a new system with a quad because I do ALOT more than just gaming with my pc. I do work with photoshop, HTML, burn DVDs. I could go on and on and on. I get about 45-100 fps depending on how many players there are and whats going on with settings the lowest. The highest I get a steady 30-40fps. You try making a video for someones wedding and having to sit and wait 6 hours while the video is encoded for DVD format. lol it sucks. And then if someone ELSE wants a copy you have to do it again unless you keep a copy on hand. Which I normally don't, saving it on the pc as a MPG works better and saves me that one DVD. :-P I don't charge for what I do, but I should.... Come to think of it... if every time i worked on a PC I got paid... I could quit my job and be rich. LOL! At any rate, I actually won't be waisting money because I won't upgrade my PC again for a VERY long time. I'm not a die hard upgrade fan. I only upgrade when I notice I can't play the newer games. Like Spiderman 3, Supreme commander, Transformers, C&C 3, and etc etc. And my wife needs a PC too... See there is a long list of why I should spend all this money. Wife gets the old one, I get the new one.

Well, it turns out im actually GOING to get this setup come tax time in February. What I'm going to do is set aside about 2,400 in the bank, and then every month send in 200 until next tax time then pay it off. The person I talked to on the phone said that actually would help build my credit up, and the loan company i went through wrote off all the intrest or the principal or w/e since it was stole so thats a plus!

I wonder how many people actually own a legit copy of windows XP. I do, because it came as a special offer with the motherboard I bought of new egg I think. ::SHRUG:: and if it didn't I think my copy wouldn't be legit. lol, but it is.

Well, the only things that are going to carry over to the new PC are probably just monitor keyboard + mouse. I'm going to use a spare keyboard and mouse to use on the old one. I'll pick up another monitor or something from somewhere cheap. Wife wants it lol. So that WD drive will be good nuff for her. Its 250, and with the 120 she'll have plenty of space to download to. The 250 still works, it just won't boot for some reason. I'd RMA it but I got it from best buy, and lost the receipt when I moved. I didn't even get online to register it. As long as it works, even though just as secondary, it should be fine.

Ok, so I took your advice and redid my little list of wants. Well, I think this is a really much better deal. Saved me about 500 dollars. Yeah, I was just saying I loved the evga board more than my old asus one. Xoul: I've never had a problem with a WD. I've had one in my old pc for about 5 years and not a single glitch. If you're having problems burning CD's I think it's usually either a CD or burner problem, not a HDD problem. You must have single-handedly gotten all of their lemons Nah, it was the hard drive. I was having all sort of problems with my computer right before i formated. When I played games my computer would just reboot. Or the game would crash. It took long times for things to load, and lots of images, text files, and MP3s were corrupted. I haven't have any issues using it as a secondary though. I had CA virus scan thats offered free with my Road Runner and I always ran it once a day(while i slept). And I have spyware removing software installed too. Maybe its just were I bought the drives from, I got them from Best Buy so they probably went through a lot! I always got my Maxtor drives from them though, and haven't have a problem. ::shrug:: Whose to say though, I'll probably give WD another shot though because I don't like trying different brands unless I've heard what other people think first.

Yeah, I didn't notice it wasn't SATA ethier. lol. This 22 inch is fine for me. My brother in law has a 24 inch with his computer and I honestly couldn't notice that big a difference from his house to mine other than he had lower FPS with a slightly better card than mine. I honesly like the maxtor drives over western digital and seagate. Every western digital that i've owned has died within a 6-12 month period. I had bought a Seria ATA western digital drive and it worked fine, then everytime i tried to burn a CD i got errors on my disc. So i ran scan disk and had alot of errors. I let scan disk fix them, and still had problems. So I formated the hard drive, and installed windows back on it, and the drive wouldn't boot. It said some weird error about not being able to boot from target disk. So i had to format my maxtor SATA 120 to be my boot drive, and use the western digital as my secondary. Thanks for the advice, I'll most likely switch almost everything out that I had picked now lol.
