  1. Great I will get it for sure, more than likely on the console. 60"tv and a bose system makes things so much more fun i think... :)

Never really cared for the Bose stuff, except they make some killer pro subs. But I'm sure the TV's nice. :P

Can not beat a bose that only cost me $200 bucks :) Would not pay the crazy price they go for normally but for that price..ohhh ya. It is the sony reciever that makes it a little better also. :)

  2. I'm definately in, and I'll chip $10 into the pot but I don't want to be in the running for it. I need to find the motivation to not do this once a year...need to figure out how to be consistant. Well, consistant at working out and being thin, not consistant at losing weight in the winter/spring and putting it back on in the summer/fall.

I feel that...I feel that deep.

    Rofl at your sig...priceless

  3. How are the weigh-ins done? Just on your own and then trust the others to be honest? I'm in, I gained about 30 pounds last year and have started trying to work it off. I'm about 190 right now and my prime weight is about 165. I guess I don't have an much to lose as some, but it would still be awesome. Thanks... -Orange.RR

ya it is a trust issue, but we are all men/women of our word. It is nice because we do it as a %, so it makes it a little more fair on everyone.

  4. Okay so I was reading all you have had to say and think I would like to pick this up.

?? The one thing I dislike about most console games is the whole analog aiming (really like the whole mouse/keyboard thing), i am just not very good at it and it seems to take a lot away from the game. So is this the same story or does the VAT system make it more entertaining.??

  5. the gig eth port is only going to help for other devices on that same network. Your internet connection is still going to be the limiting factor for anything going off your network. Also if all of your devices do not support it there will be no gain.

As for power line adapters I have never used them, so I cant say how well they work, but it may have a lot to do with the age of the wiring in your house.

I have seen some articles saying up to 300mb but most people avg 50-100, so do the new wireless N's with the boosted wireless g stuff make it better.

  6. Okay so I have a wrt54g router that I have wired via a long cat cable to my PS3 to stream movies. This cable is a pain in my backside and was thinking of doing a powerline adapter..?? Would this be any better then the g wireless connection?? Or would it be better to get a new router with some stronger signal...would this help even though it is still a g connection.

One other thing: the wrt54g is a 10/100, and some of the new ones are 10/100/1000 ports, would this help my computer connection being that I have the computer connected to the router also. I also have seen that some of the new routers have "new" tech that boosts stream and stuff.

So what do you think is the better route??

  7. So I will be getting a new hdtv pretty soon. Is it possible to hook my TV into my computer and watch movies that I have on my computer without having to switch out cables or whatnot?

This seems like I should be able to do it without too much hassle, just need some instruction. And google is failing me. Are you smarter than google?

Use your PS3 or Xbox as a media server and then use TVersity to stream them to your TV...Works like a champ for me HD and all.
