For the record, ME3 multiplayer doesn't truly begin until you're beating your head against the wall on Gold. Gotta love 2 or 3 Banshees coming at you on round 3

I WILL be picking this up at some point, but probably not on release day. I've still got Dead Space 3 in the wrapper and my gaming time has been severly limited recently

If it runs decently on my Surface Pro though...

Is there a chance for you to switch to PC and play with us? Let me guess, you have a laptop which is only capable to check email and watch videos?

No, I have a bespoked rig with an i7 2600k and a GTX 680. I do not want to spend $20 buying the game again, and losing all of my progress and unlocks. My MP level was somewhere around 1600 when I last played, so I had unlocked quite a bit. I don't think I could start over from scratch without my beloved Black Widow, Geth Infiltrator, Asari Justicar, etc.

You guys suck... Why am I the only GC person that has ME3 on the original (and best.for this game) platform?

I freaking LOVE ME3 multiplayer, and put a ton of time into it for roughly the first six months after it was out. Then a bunch of life stuff happened, a few new games took priority, and I haven't messed with it for a few months. I would love to get back into it with GC folk, but I have it for Xbox 360, not PC.

Thanks for the review! I wanted so badly for the campaign of this game to be great, especially after the presentation Gearbox did a while back and hearing the enthusiam and passion they had to "get it right". Then rumors of outsourcing started cropping up, crappy studio got their hands on the campaign, threw out most of the stuff Gearbox did, slapped it together, then handed a bad product to Gearbox with no time to fix it. I wish Gearbox had the time and desire to fix this, but sadly I think it will be a very long time before someone tries another attempt at an Alien game. AvP2 is one of my all-time favorites, and the MP on it was so well done. I was hoping for this to give me a similar feel since I haven't played AvP2 since roughly 2004.

I'll be waiting for a Steam sale. I'm too big of a fan of Aliens to let this completely pass by. I even picked up 2010's AvP, but have yet to play it.

Jehoshaphat is an old server regular. I remember him settling in an NPC village (which are procedurally generated, btw) shortly after this new server got running. Must have claimed the land when that mod was installed. Since i haven't been on in a while, I have no idea how recent his activity is for you to be able to talk to him. What is your minecraft ID? I can ask him about it if I see him on.

My last few builds have been with G.Skill Ripjaws, which have run flawlessly, but I can't necessarily say their much "better" than Corsair, Crucial, etc.

This is more or less what I'm running, except I only have 8GB total:

Oops, just noticed those are the Sniper series, not ripjaws. No clue what the difference is, to be honest. The speed and timings are about the same to what I have though.

For all the reasons you mentioned yourself, I would have a hard time sticking with AMD over Intel. Yeah, it's more money for the i7, but if you're looking to get mileage out of these new parts, I think it would be worth it.

There are a handful of us that pop on now and then. Always been a clean place to play. There were a few issues with griefers popping on and destroying the spawn area, but the new mods FK has in place should help prevent that.

Your total wattage is less than 300W, my rig at home has similar power requirements and I run on an old PC Power and Cooling Silencer 370W. Your board isn't capable of SLI/CrossfireX, and future wise the general trend is "green". If you wanted to spend the money I'd go with this, it gives you enough headroom for the future and passes HardOCP's torture test(which means running it at 80% load in an ambient tempeture of 113F - brutal). Whatever you order I'd look at HardOCP's PSU reviews first, they are extremely well done.

Holy crap, that's an awesome price for the Seasonic PSU. I'm tempted to buy it and keep it on hand simply out of principle.

Corsair, Seasonic or Antec would be my recommendations. I've had several builds with Antecs that never faild, and am rocking a Corsair AX750 in my main system at home. A TX750 would be a good choice, unless you want to go modular and step up to the HX or AX series.
