hello hello! a man who knows his british sports cars. Personally, i believe the TR6 is as ugly as sin. i've driven one, and i can honestly say that even with SU carbs, new exhaust manifold and a new head unit it still isnt as spunky as the little 2 litre inline fours that the TR3 has.

Sorry if this is a repeat post... i haven't checked through the topics. On Friday night, a little after 9:00 PM, three seniors at Glastonbury High School: Wes Clark, Eric Mahoney and Dan Palmer, were killed in a head on collision that also claimed the life of a young man from Colchester, Connecticut. Eric, Dan and Wes were funny, good kids with ambitious plans for the future whose lives were snuffed out prematurely in a freak accident the likes of which our little town hasn't seen for decades. I'd ask that you all hold Eric, Dan and Wes, their family and their friends, in your hearts and prayers in the coming weeks, which will surely be very difficult for all of us.

Its a longshot sometimes, but if you find someone selling what you're after within a 50 mile radius of you it might be worth it to shoot out to have a look at the car. Wherabouts in the world are you? seems to me a lot of muscle cars go for sale on ebay around the west coast...

well, on the quarter mile, yes. Definately. But there are few things sexier then the 1967 MGA or Austin Healy Bugeye Sprite! (/\ the MGA) /\ the sprite i've always had a special spot in my heart for 60ish firebirds and other pontiacs, and have always loved Hemi 'Cudas. But the simplicity, aesthetics and quality of drive you get with a spunky little four banger brit car cannot be beat!

Buy a real sports car... Personally im a fan of older british sport makes, MG, Triumph, Healy, and the like...
