  1. Link isn't working for me... Could just be my comp though I dunno...
  2. Hey Clueless Ya the racing sim. games are nice however they would probably get tiresome to me, and I would get annoyed with changing stuff all the time. I guess arcade is more my style, like Need For Speed. But I will have to check out that Flatout2 that you guys were playing at FragFest. Thanks for the info!
  3. Ya I will most likely go with an ATI video card. I've always had ATI, but for the past couple years GeForce was the big thing so I figured I would go with them this time. But since ATI is so cheap and decent I think i'll stick with them again.
  4. hey guys I'm planning on selling my laptop to get the funds to build this new computer I want. I've had the laptop for about a year. I bought it to replace my desktop. But ended up still using the desktop....So the laptop has like maybe 15-20 hours on it in a year haha. I have hardly put anything on it other then firefox, and Pidgin. I deleted those off. But the computer is registered in my name, and I have my first and last name on there. I really don't feel like re-formatting it. You think I should be worried about leaving my name on there? Other then that I have no other info on there...
  5. Hey guys, Not sure if you can help me out or not. But just as much as I like FPS games. I also like racing games too. Anybody know of any good racing games out lately worth looking into?
  6. Preacher I do like that processor. It has a lot of good reviews on Newegg too. I'm just hoping with newer games coming out that it can hold up to them. I don't want to have to upgrade again in a year down the road. But from what people say in the reviews that it can almost hold up to a Quad Core Extreme, I think I should be OK. So you guys don't think going with the AMD is a good idea? I've never had AMD so I can't really say bad about it.
  7. Well I do gaming, I play CS, TF2, and hopefully crysis. And then occasionally I use photoshop. But nothing extensive with that at all..... I went with the 4850 with the AMD because I was going for an all around cheaper PC with that one. Zester told me that the 4870 is pretty much top of the line, so going down to the 4850 wouldnt be too much of a step down... Would it be worth spending the extra couple bucks and getting the 4870?
  8. Haha ill let Zester know about that. I work with him on Monday. Sorry the links didn't work... Im looking to spend between 650-800 bucks. Im selling my Vaio laptop on ebay. So i'm hoping to get atleast $650 for it. I tried a different thing with the links here they are again. If they don't work I give up lol. Or ill just type them in. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...shListTitle=amd http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...ListTitle=Intel Thanks for helping me out!
  9. Hey Everyone, Zester pointed me in the direction of you guys, to goto for some help with a new computer. As most of us probably are trying to find the best bang for our buck. I'm tied between AMD and Intel. But it seems as though if I go with the AMD im looking at cheaper prices for motherboards. I set up two wishlists on Newegg. One with an AMD setup and the other with intel. I like to game, and I play CS and TF2. And would like to play crysis. And hopefully this build will last me for some of the new games coming out. I'm just looking for some input and criticism. As for the case i'm not too worried about that just yet. I just wanna make sure I get the guts. I'll probably either go with that raidmax or maybe the antec 900. Intel Build https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedW...aspx?ID=6552074 AMD Build: https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedW...aspx?ID=6554074 Thanks!
