last time I played, the game would crash when we had 10v10 kind of at random.

Oh boy! That update of recovering your lost points once you crash sounds awesome!! Thank you for that

 

On a side note: For those of you that experience game crashes every 90 minutes (approximately), I found a way to stop that. If you leave the GAME (NOT JUST the server, the GAME itself) and then rejoin the server, this will reset your future game crash.

 

For example, if you play for about an hour, you're probably going to be more likely to crash within the next 30 minutes. Leaving the game entirely and rejoining the server is going to reset your game crash for another 90 minutes. This means you won't experience any game crashes if you use this counter-tactic. Trust me, it actually works.

 

I know leaving the game and rejoining the server might be similar to crashing. However, you'll at least be in control when you leave the game instead of just crashing randomly in the middle of a round. I recommend leaving/rejoining the server once a chapter ends or something. Again, this is for the people that experience game crashes every 90 minutes or so.

 

Hopefully, this update will allow you to retrieve your lost points once you rejoin the server after leaving

I haven't been on in forever for so many reasons.

 

I thought I'd give some updates for anyone who wonders where I am or what happened to me( if anyone wonders)

 

I got a promotion at work and i'm constantly busy and tired when i get home.

I've been working at home on my art stuff and it's been taking SOOO much of my time, it's insane.

 

I haven't felt like playing l4d2 in forever and when I do, I don't recognise anyone and feel awkward.

I always feel bad when I get on because I suck so much ( much more than I used to).

I've been mainly playing League of legends in my free time (feel free to add me TsunamiTheWave is my IGN)

 

 

I just wanted to say, I really miss playing with everyone and it seems like when I have the time, there's always something that keeps me from playing or I just don't feel like playing more than a round.

 

I still read the forums all the time because I'm super curious haha

ha, long time no see. playing with the new ppl isn't too bad...just start talking and seeing whats what!

this seems like a small and strange reason to remove this item.

meleeing while using a weapon in anyway should disrupt the activity. Especially the AWP, that needs to stop the reload all together, good thing it works as it should with the MP5

I actually wrote a system today that allows infected players to choose where they want to spawn witches while being either in ghost mode or spawned in. Infected players have to be a certain distance away from the Survivors based on who is closest to them and you can only spawn them on the ground, you can't be in the air or anything either. Tested it today and it works perfectly. I would just have to integrate it into the buy menu and whatnot if people want such a thing.

Well no, thats not it. What happened when Valve ported over the L4D1 materials, instead of porting the actual L4D1 Survivor models over they just basically stuck the skins of them over the L4D2 models.

That is a Zoey model reference. IF you have custom models it means the model isn't working correctly at all times when you play. IE, animation to pickup someone when they are down, may not be working and you may see just a frozen/erect model of Zoey at that time.

It would be an individual thing. Per player.

hmmm. and if a player didn't have a full heal and had points sent to them and they try to buy a heal, they can't?

But not only does being efficient in killing things gets you more points, but it would get you more "full heal" uses.

wouldn't that fill up the slots very fast? if it was "every 3rd or 7th Special Infected kill you get one load for Full" or even 10 or whatever....you kill so many infected in one game that doesn't seem hard
