  1. Lol. There's not a sperg big enough to deal with all that, let alone make it appealing to the masses.
  2. Lol brackets around single-line conditional statements. Amateurs.
  3. Lol - nice thread tags. Another tank glitch - whenever I was tank before the big patch by Valve, the Survivors killed me in like no time flat. Happened a lot, actually.
  4. *posts a thing about ADMINABOOS* Wait. Baloosh? Aboos? It's fate. I'm fated to be discriminated against. I should be my own protected class. Et tu, tainted? :(
  5. wut. Or better yet, lolwut.
  6. And lol @ all you guys who think Batman could even hang for 2 seconds with Superman. Sheesh.
  7. On a lighter note, WC I'm gonna be waiting for you at 3:00pm after school in the playground. Be ready to rumble. We can do it the manly way: Or the fun way:. Your call.
  8. You need me to say something? I don't know what I can say. Do you even have a list of what is missing and/or taken and/or unaccounted for? I think the details of what happened, and how I (and my son) were directly involved has already been stated. He didn't, to the best of my knowledge, mess with any of your stuff. He did start looting when he first logged on the first time, but it was dealt with immediately and everything was returned that I am aware of (to the people whose areas he went into). I guarantee you it wasn't me or my son that took anything from your area. Others, however, I cannot say that about - and to the best of my knowledge, like I said, everything was replaced and/or returned that I had a direct (or indirect) involvement with. He also did build close to spawn, and probably close to a couple other "unclaimed" claim areas... but without some sort of mechanism in place to lock people out from making changes, how is *anyone* who is new to the Server supposed to know? Having a whitelist is a very good start, but we've all seen how even that has limitations. How far away is "far enough away" from everyone's locations, and the locations of where they plan to maybe build, or maybe put something there, or maybe someday use that area. The building close to spawn was an honest mistake on his part. Tear it all down if you want to. In fact, I'll log on to the Server and take care of that right the next time I log on. No worries. If you're looking to publicly humiliate and shame someone on the forums, feel free to bash me all you want. It's just a game. Replace your things via Creative/Admin mode if you need them right away, and rest assured my son won't be back on the Server. In fact, I probably won't be on much anymore either. However, I guarantee that won't mean your (or someone else's) stuff won't disappear and/or get changed again one day. Do you want all the diamonds I've mined? Take them. They're yours. I'll find more, if I decide to play again with any level of dedication. The first step to solving this is for you to list what all was taken/missing/moved/etc. Then I can work on replacing it, since nobody else is going to step up and admit any level of culpability in this. Even though I and my son had nothing to do with it, it's now my problem to fix, since you've all but straight up said it's my problem to deal with in a public forum. That's cool, I can handle it. Let's fix it. What do you need to get back?
  9. Good lookin bunch - hope you guys had a great time!!
  10. Lol @ that black CRT monitor. Who lugged that thing to FFO?
  11. I'm the black anklet socks with the New Balance sneakers. And what does the guy on the far right have crooked in his left elbow? It is a mystery....
  12. Wait - names. We need names in that circle of Tebows.
  13. That must be a mighty big HDMI cable.
  14. Still the same old GC. A team that's up over 1500 points can complain about the teams, and get their side stacked even more. Lol.
  15. Why must it always be about color to you? Can't we move past that?
  16. You mis-typed "Make Yoshi the only perm-banned player today" I knew that's what you meant, so I voted yase.
  17. Lol - you kids today. Don't know how good you got it. Congrats, crash - you just triggered my "GET OFF MAH LAWN" brain button. This from the guy who ported Donkey Kong to the Atari 8-bit home computer: http://www.dadhacker.com/blog/?p=987 Here's Miyamoto (of Nintendo fame) in a children's book from the 80's about making video games. Note the cigarette he's holding, cause the 80's ruled like that: http://www.disgruntl...miStars0607.jpg This is how we rolled back in the day, kid. Object-Oriented wasn't a thing, and was reserved for true nerds like VAXen or PDPs: Here's the website of an Engineer who worked at Atari. He has a bunch of detail about the computer setup and game development and also a full upload of all his emails and memos from 1982 to 1992. There was a C compiler for Atari. It compiled code to an 8086 virtual machine and ran like a steaming pile of dung. If you want to know how good you got it today, "Racing the Beam" is an excellent read. http://www.amazon.com/Racing-Beam-Computer-Platform-Studies/dp/026201257X Here's how games were written on a Motorola 68k: http://tcrf.net/Proto:Sonic_the_Hedgehog_2_%28Genesis%29/Nick_Arcade_Prototype Here's some NES 6502 Assembly: http://tcrf.net/Dragon%27s_Lair_%28NES%29 This is what we typed by hand. Uphill. Both ways. In the snow. Barefoot. And we liked it. WE LOVED IT. So in short what I'm saying is, "Quit yer cryin, suck it up and get that code done." ;P
  18. Somebody knocked me and at least one other person off while traveling the cobblstone/staircase up to the initial spot of the Dragon death. He's sorta-perma-banned anyway until his tests are done, but he definitely destroyed a bunch of us.
  19. Good job to all, and to whomever knocked me off that staircase leading up to the Dragon XP orbs, that was pretty lol. I chuckled. Well played. :)
