With how much they're making off of TF2 I don't know why they would... they've done so many updates to it. Where with us they've kinda stopped doing updates and are pushing the community to do the work themselves.

HL3 would be awesomer... more valve made campaigns would make me happy for L4D2

uh oh. A loud bang?! That's interesting.... I once caught a PC on fire by crossing some bare wires. I don't remember how they got to be bare.

Even if the group shows up, it can be slow. Ain't got time for that. I just use the console.

My guess it's the motherboard or CPU that has failed. You'd get some sort of beep if it was the video card or RAM. But Baloosh is right, you can salvage your HD data just by plugging it into another computer and copy/pasting the files. I wouldn't worry too much about losing anything.

So far I like them, have had them for about 8 months. Thought the cable would annoy me, but it doesn't because it's long enough. My only wish is for some sort of indicator when the mic is on or off. When I first got them I thought the mic was on so people couldn't hear me (and it occasionally still happens if I bump it while putting them on.)

Soap, you mean community made maps? I think that was axed because you can't download during the loading process and people won't install them. So not unless Valve adds them like they did Cold Stream I guess. (And everyone hates that one.)

Choke points for SWAMP:

1st level: Charging off pier (on either side)

The plane (forget the level, isn't it #2? Can you make the delay for the door opening longer? I seem to remember it used to take longer.)

All the high up docks (good for chargers/smokes)

The plantation finale is fun, so long as people stay in the house (for infected) Not much fun in the yard.

I think the whole campaign might benefit with some jackie pathing. Maybe drop a few random cars in spots to help the tank out. For the finale maybe take out all the bushes and drop in a car or two.

Why not? You don't like the swamp? I know it used to break things, but we've played it fairly recently and it was fine.

I voted for them all. I REALLY REALLY miss Swamp Fever, so hope that gets put back in soon.

I used to do that quite frequently in TF2 as a spy. I know it was unsportsmanlike, but no one ever fell for it more than twice.

Ohhh I remember that night fondly. I think I wasn't far behind you. We saw achievements that no one even knew about.

Last night I got close to 260 points as survivor (and I had came into the map about halfway through.)

I agree on suiciding chargers. I don't have it binded, but I should. I succeed about 50% of the time. I don't want to give the survivors points on top of my fail charge.

I have played it to almost 100% and beaten it. I might be down for some teaming up with friends when I have time. Aside for being repetitive gameplay of the first, I had no complaints. Seemed to end too soon, where-as the first went on too long. Wished for more than 80 side missions.

Congrats! I would have liked to see that.
