  1. Respectfully, I must refute you sir. Eight to ten seconds is still somewhat exaggerated. You are assuming a majority of the team is actively shooting, but more importantly, hitting the tank consistently for all 8 seconds. There are only a few areas where the tank is lined up perfectly and without any cover for this to happen.
  2. Can I get brownie points?
  3. Some dude cussed for no reason at the team and then rushed. STEAM_1:1:35230490
  4. Four rushers ran straight to elevator and camped there while half the team was by safe room helping incapped. Multiple warnings to go help team by both his team mates and infected. Most of the rushers are new to the servers ( I think), but Tornado Nick is not, and he should know better. IF anything, he should've led the newbies camping with him back to help the incapps, but just remain camped at the elevator and tried to justified his rushing/camping/refusal to help team. 5. Game full of rushers. MULTIPLE warnings from me, Jkap, Jose. This guy doesn't care. 1:0:25472952

  9. This post makes 100% sense and too well written for me. I personally yell at newbies all the time to follow the rules and I think some people get annoyed. Sometimes I just turn off my mic and /facepalm. After warnings, I just votekick and often regulars/members support me. I record all the real dingleberries and let the forums handle them. In terms of going easy on newbies - NEVER. Ten v ten servers are not for tutorial, hand holding, and newbie coddling. However, I have seen experienced players ( sadly myself included) who have not been the best "team player" and can be somewhat mean/offensive/insulting towards newbies. Tough, but constructive criticism, tempered with a bit of patience, would definitely go a long way to strengthen the community; and, add to our ranks new blood to face stomp. Otherwise, all we have to play with are those 50% headshotters, and that's no fun.
  10. Pump still calls me noob everyday.
  11. Dude spams mic incessantly and being a troll. Multiple people are annoyed. Tard wrangler - 1:1:20192745
  12. Elevator of finale. Silentwolf refused to run into elevator, results in many incaps. Called team mates noob. Got votekick. Then his friend brutehunter decides to run all the way back to the saferoom to retaliate for friend getting booted, gets mauled, then left. Our team gets mad tank points and demolish them. silentwolf : 1:0:50149925 brutehunter: 1:1:44758235
  13. I was on the opposite team during this match. I can confirm that Zelda was provoked by another player ( yoitsblang sp? ). Zelda was helping another incapped teammate and became incapped himself. Half their team left the incaps behind in the back, and Zelda didn't "keep up" because he was in the back helping incaps. Yoitsblang kept saying KEEP UP, you should KEEP UP, why don't you keep up in chat, yet did nothing to help any incaps. Then Zelda and yoitsblang began verbally arguing/insulting each other in chat for 2 maps until Turbo joined. I told Turbo in game chat the situation and private PM saying if he bans one, he needs to ban both. Objectively from the chat log, yoitsblang was the principal and initial instigator and should be the one more severely punished.
  14. I can also confirm this guy likes to "try" stacking at least a few times but the console always shuts him down.
  15. Wow didn't know this would be such a hotly debated topic. In my humble newbie opinion, I'd say do nothing. Let the area be a death charge spot, as it was inclined to be, whether the victim is initially incapped or not; i.e. if you get charged there, you are screwed. It's a fun mechanic/tactic/strategy for this map so why remove it. Then no admins are required to do anything. And no additional scripting from Jackie or whoever. Win-win for all.
  16. Stealthyness ( 1:1:41033981) rushed ahead of team, even after warnings. He's way ahead, and team wasn't even on the coaster.
  17. Yes, the inconsistency of admin opinions and decisions about this death charge is not really a serious game breaking issue but it can often affect the final outcome of the match. If no admins present, then it's a guaranteed death; but in the times I have played with admins present, they've never teleported anyone over. Except this time. I'm just saying that death charge spot is like the best part of that whole map and can be a game changer if scores are even! Many times a team will discuss, plan, and hopefully execute a successful charge. To dedicate time, effort, and resources to attempt one is worth it if successful, especially a main. So for an admin to just teleport one victim out just feels like a slap in face for the opposite team.
  18. The link is dead. TO be honest, I'm not 100% sure what the admins are supposed to do because I am still a server newbie. But I think the infected team should've been given a chance to at least get more points out of the incap. If they are teleported, then we lost that chance. It's not fair for us and the loss of points ( for tank, etc) can often affect the outcome of the final score.
  19. I'll try to make this quick and concise as possible. The video is long, but relevant. Bonus ban material at the end! Death Toll, Map 4 - The Town. Player on survivor team was death charged to the left. I say "death charge" because even if the victim doesn't die, there is no way he/she can rejoin team due to the fence enclosing the area. So the infected team can pretty much kill at their leisure. However, Mercman teleported the player to freedom ( and LIFE!) and this was an issue our team debated for the rest of the map. Maestro rejoined midway through map and offered to resolve the situation by offering to teleport one of our players if he/she gets death charged when it's our turn. But what if our team doesn't get death charged ( and didn't) ? Our team had a major discussion about Mercman's decision: 1.This death charge often results in an inexperienced team rushing to try to save the person, allowing infected to use this to their advantage. 2. Victim's death gives the team much needed points. 3. We were losing 500-900. 4. Unfair I'm not calling anyone out. Just asking for a critical dialogue and maybe set a precedent on future admin decisions for this particular action for the benefit of the server and gameplay for all.
  20. So what's the deal with Dixie? Why is Dixie so Dixie?
  21. Typical sat night fun 10v10 with mostly members. At about 23.4 seconds, I played it frame by frame and I'm 90% sure it was DIXIE who shot the boomer that contributed to this EPIC FAIL. Enjoy! -Me Johnny. Such Noob. Wow
  22. Request ban for these two rushers. Repeat offenders from two back to back games. Rushed, didn't help team when we had incapped. Got murdered ( one pic shows hunter on vinyl). Tanks were bought from their deaths and they left as team was getting destroyed. Gc_s 1:1:56190667 Vinyl Scratch 1:1:70699415
  23. Hello, Guy was spamming bot vocals and then rushed to safe room. Many repeated warnings from team mates and even those on opposite team. I hope we don't see him again. Thanks, Me Johnny. Such Noob. Wow
