Guys, on a UPS such as this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16842107113 I am wondering what if I plugged in a wireless mic system into this. Would it power the wireless mics or not? I know these have all these windows features but I just want a regular power source for like a park to use wireless microphones. I need about a 3 hr run time though : ) Auggy

sounds like a semantic to me. An athiest would deny God becase of the lack of evidence, I assume. Isnt that the reason why a agnostic would say they don't believe there is a god or gods due to lack of evidence. ahhhh this just crossed my mind. Just because something is not seen nor proven does not make it so. Thus an agnostic might reason that they don't deny there MIGHT be a God. They kind of leave it open??? I'll try but he's always gone. I did a bit of reading today as to the historical evidence of Jesus and the disciples and what I found is it seems the evidence (seems as always) is questionable. I was not able to find much evidence on the disciples. I too am curious now as I've already began leaving the conservative thinking. for example I find it obvious that Jesus did not adhere to the mosaic law. The mechanics christians use to say he did not is that he literally obeyed all rules and regulations. Yet many times he did not follow through with what the law required. This statement has a bad reaction with my church friends. They respond harshly that I'm trying to bring Jesus down when in fact it's quite the opposite. Thank unclean, Yes I know of that difference between atheism and agnosticism but he seems to calim agn. His main take on the existence of God is that no one can prove God exists. He believes he was raised in a western world so his views are all tainted with christian philosophy. He sees writings which come from the bible and says the same stories are found in other cultures writings; names changed and parts of the stories are altered but basically the same. Of course my father-in-law (devout christian) and I (devout christian) both endorst simply cause it's not seen nor physically tangible does not mean it does not exist. I am basically a liberal christian but I do infact believe there is a designer behind every sub-atomic particle and every strand of DNA. Like I said I know his best freind loves this neechee dude and so I was trying to follow my bros line of thinking. I guess I'm trying to learn the arguments made of agnostics so that I might be able to dialouge a little bit better. for example I know the atheistic ? of can God make a rock he cannot lift which to me is a mix up of words..."can anyone do anything they cannot do?" the question seems to me to be invalid. Can God be god and not be God at the same time? seems like non-sense to me. But he doesnt argue like that he argues mostly based on philosphers writings Neechee and aristotle are two he quotes. Hey guys, I was not sure where to post this and thought this area was best suited. I'm wondering if anyone has any understanding of this cat's views. I have a brother-in-law who claims now he is a agnoistic. I know is best freind in turkey (instanbul) reads alot of nietzsche's writings. I read some stuff online and it goes over my head. I'm trying to learn a bit on his atheisitic ideas. So perhaps someone can dailouge a bit on things. I would imagine that such people have answers as to how nothing comes from nothing? Or How such a comlex universe came into being? Can anyone help? I know many of you are much more educated than myself so I thought I might ask here. Auggy

SPOILLLLLEERRR DONT READ------------- ok first off I liked it. but does anyone know why brian singer did not direct 3? I think he would have done a better job. Magneto still reigns!!!! in the fight seen between the x men and the bad mutants there was a conflict within me that mutants just were lame. not enough powers being displayed. Instead it came to pretty much a good ol bar room brawl if magneto really wanted to kill them couldn't he have just dropped the whole golden gate bridge on top of alcatraz??? I don't know the comic series too well but I have to say wolv killing jean was kinda heart wrenching as I felt sad that one main character killed another. A bit dark for a story. I like that....but it saddned me. I love the end....Magneto lives!!!! and after the credits...I missed it but heard about xavier??? can anyone fill me in please....pretty please... Aug

I read on the authenticity of the stories and some say true and some say not true. For example one guy arguing "not true" says that adams (i think that was the pres) never wrote anything about the hauntings. ON THE OTHER HAND one guy actually bought plane tickets and flew in to adams (the town) and in the library and city researched literature and he was there to prove it untrue, he ended up believeing the evidence. This story is what inspired the blair witch apparently. I read about it and it sounds demonic rather than ghost. Aug

slim, while I can't say I'm big on vampires and wwolfs, I will say this series has the potential of being a GREAT series. I'd even be willing to say with the perfect directing and writing it could have rivaled matrix or Swars (4,5,6). This whole gangsta thing was just a clever plot and now this halfbreed abomination is all the more interesting. I absolutley thought the first movie was so clutch and I was expecting so little. A few things I mentioned I didnt dig, (espcecially poor effects) but all in all the story line makes up for its vulnerabilites. I'm looking foward to evolution

Guys, I think this room I found is not easily found. I like to spend time exploring the maps and trying to find any secrest the makers put. At the dam there are 2 resevior openings. I parket the airboat by one and climbed up and sure enough... this is the dam where you see the G man standing far off. You have to use a broken bridge to get up to the top to open the dam. It's right AFTER the helicopter and you go one on one and he's droppin all kinds of those mines on you. Give it a try and LISTEN CAREFULLY I can't make much sense but I'm thinking perhaps the game makers put some story line clues here. its all in like a poem so pay attention and turn up the volume. By the way you better have like FULL life to get to it. Perhaps some of you have been there already and I'm just now finding it. let me know Aug

Guys, in my church our new worship leader is a charismatic (our chuech is baptist) : ) It brings me back to the old studies I did on this issue due to family who believed there are 2 kinds of tounges; prayer language and gift of tounges. It's interesting that I can find no scripture that supports this idea, still yet many seem to find that the bible supports the Idea. I am not one who believes the gifts are no longer here today however I do agree with John Mcarthur that Hebrews 2 supports that the miraculous gifts were for testifying what the apostles were saying. John goes too far by saying they are no longer used but I do think they are not as popular as many think. I certainly don't believe that IT IS THE MARK OF THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I believe it was a sign (as hebrews 2 says) that they had received the baptism of the holy spirit. Anyhow, This issue is arising in our church. Anyone ever go through this? Aug
